lastime i was around 'clownstep' seemed to be the hot topic of conversation.
as a year has past and this genre has been given many different tags i wonder what the drumnbass.be crew's thought are a year on.
i was listening to Generation Dub the other day and was lovin their work, there are some tunes out there utilizing that clownstep beat that jus tear up any dancefloor in my book, regardless of the age of punters.
and also i thought why isn't there a remix of mampi's 'the one' not that this beast needs remixing, no-one can come close to it but it would be interesting to hear a pendulum, or baron remix
wotcha all think?????

it's all a matter of taste
both the disliking it part as the liking it part
i do not tend to dislike a track because it's categorised under clownstep,or because it's by a producer who's work i usually don't feel
most clownstep isn't my cup of tea honnestly, but stuff like "the crow" from ?? on global thang is pretty cool

well it certainly divides opinion.
i just like good music, there are tracks by G-Dub that i fuckin hate then there are ones i'd die for.
i can quite happily play sum sick tunes like evol; intent or counterstrike then whack on the rolling stones , classical , rock, whatever i feel like.
i find the people who only stick to certain types of music are actually limited regarding musical talent, the ones who keep their mouths shut and just get on with it are the ones to watch..
Peace and thanks for all your opinions

I think true Clownstep has to have a silly feel. To many tunes of the last year have all had that pendelum lead sound like a bloody kazoo with over the top epic daft build ups. people will soon get bored of the same joke.
Saying that. My kids love it. But i think that explains who its aimed at.
