hello all and firstly may i say its good to be back.....
i have been in exile for a year and my thirst for producing dnb has been getting more and more desperate, allthough there are still things that i need to understand first.

When i trigger a sample with my midi keyboard, say a bassline within fruity, when i'm not recording i can play a mixture of one hit notes to holding notes. when i record doing the same thing and then play it back the sampler just plays every note as if i was holding them.

i thought i'd get round the problem by recording my arrangement with soundforge then cutting the recording and dropping it into fruity,, although this leads to timing issues and can zap any free-flowing creativity i have at that point in time to make a track.

any thoughts on how others do it
or where i'm going wrong

peace people, lookin forward to hearing the latest from all u budding producers out there..

i dont use fruity loops that often. but when i did i had the same problem... one way around it would be to use the wave traveler u cant change the key of the sample but it works

or just get ableton live 5... the best prog out there imo and u can use it in sync w/ fruityloops and reason... way nice check it
