who has herd this new cd. i think hype has fuked it man. yeah i guess some of the tunes sound ok but fukin hell. masochist (pendulum) THAT SOUNDS FUKED MAN. i think tht itz jus anoyin the way he has done this cd. yeah good tunes but the mixin is just fuked. rewindin n tht shit if uve herd it u wil kno what i mean...

REWINDS ON A CD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats fucking nuts...its too often now that djs arent taking an artistic approach anymore to their mix cd's... I mean everyone and anyone can ust back spin recods, and do double drops lke its nothing ya know...we've all seen it, heard it...
Its the artistic approach and the aesthetics behind mix cd's that make them good...like golides cd Timeless...and amazing cd... or the ^6ixth Session by DSL... Theyre some really really rerally good mix cd's out there... Also Killabytes 2 on moving shadow... a hard 2 disc to get your hands on, but its fucking dope...great mixing, and just crazy track selections...
I honestly dont feel people like hype should be making cd's...theyre just strait club djs ya know...you only get their full effect and skill when you see em live...and like mr P-Head has stated, the cd is fucekdd...it makes no sense...like its stupid...it sounds liek a drunken studio mix he decicded to release...funny though i have to say...
a good cd out atm is Frictions, Big Bad Bass on valve... or Bass Invaders on System recordings released by Zinc

what are you on about, ass far as i know he double decked 'masochist' (and a couple of other tunes) on his latest mix-cd, sounded pretty cool, shame most of the tracklist on that cd wasn't very good so i decided not to get it

yeah i agree with surora it sounds like he was pised or sumfin. and yeah it is much beta live. but u buy tht cd and tel me tht itz not anoyin. i fukin cant stand it.
yeah i kno itz probley double decks but i jus dnt see the point. itz fuked and jus to repetetive...

i doubt he was drunk while recording a commercial mix-cd, anyway i thought it sounded cool and have no problem with him doing it on a cd, i've got plenty of online-mixes and mix-cd's at home with similar stuff on it

as if i realli ment he was drunk i was havin a laf. but i jus think itz a bit anoyin yeah it is good i give him credit for his skils hype has been in the game frm the begining... he has done alot in his time and to me it jus sounds like he is jus gettin 2good in a way. he jus cant leve the decks alone to let the tune play. not sayin this is on all his stuf. talkin about this cd.

sori for the 3 posts on1 page. i had a good moving shaddow cd. it had some of the music from grand theft auto 3 on it. i think it was timecode or somthing, i think i stil have it somewhere gota dig it up. tht has got some good mixin in it..

i have that cd...its moving shadow 01.1 it was the first dnb cd i ever bought...that and the 6ixth session is what got me into dnb

well if you want a mix from a dj who just lets the tunes play and doesn't do any scratching or other tricks you probably shouldn't buy a hype-mix-cd

i wouldnt go as far as saying just lets tunes play...if you listen to dsl's cd's he does MAD sampling here and there, and his mixing skills are beyond anyting else that ive heard...
There is a very artistic approach to most dj mixes like that...but you are right, if you dont want to hear the scratching and what not, then dont buy a cd from hype..
