Nice feel goin in the intro. OOOOHHHHHH what that's fuckin sick man!!! It's got my head knoding. I like it cause it's chill yet still dark and rollin. The change up is neat. Drums sound very nice. I really like the main melody. Cool track

like the intro need a bit more stereo imagery to it tho, after the ntro think it goes a bit too weak the bass sounds ok but the riff isnt imaginative enough id say. the background synth is well nice tho, need a bit more variation in the drum programing n all can get quit dull. Think the bass line needs to be bit darker by using minors and demonic scales just not enough goin on. best part of the tune is the atmospheric synths there spot on mate, post a new version of this would u it has postential. dave

I'm big fan of low pass filter builds in general especially at the start of trax so really the like the build on the track. Ur bassline is thumpin on this track as well and i love the fx kinda thing that goes over the bassline at 1:53. cant describe it very well but really like it. The only constructive crit i can give is wasnt feeling the vocal sample (imo) but apart from fucking nice mate.

Another really nice one - love all the synth work - catchy stuff at 1:20ish and that big bending sub is amazing. Vocal sample is great - what effect are you using? The hook at 1:57 is wicked - subtle but very effective - also love the earie atmos swelling in and out back in the mix. Only criticisms are there seems to be a hum going through the whole track - can hear it in the intro and again at the end (maybe have a track monitor button lit up?) hats and rides sound a bit unnatural, maybe something a bit thicker and organic sounding (some subtle reverb also?). The sub may be a bit too loud as well, but it sounds wicked (at 4:45 you can hear it clearly - what do you have layered over the sine to get that grimmey overtone?). Otherwise another damn good track - flawlessly written, smooth, professional and an easy listen - very enjoyable.

nosrac

thanks for the review.

not much fx's on the vocals. just a flanger and hi and low cuts.

the hum is my mixing board, i had the master volume way to high.

i agree my hats and rides still need work, thanks for the suggestions.

the layering on the bass........ i think your talking about the saw bass i layered on it. then i just cut out all the low end.

cheers. Afro

Nice to see something new from Mr. Stick.

Another fantastic production, keeping in tune with the style and attention to detail I expect to hear from you.

Subjective: An overall nice atmosphere is created in the background, that keeps a very nice flow throughout the song, I really enjoyed the melody, and works well with the bass line. Nice vocal sample, different not over used, and well placed.

Objective: The drums are great, although become a little repetative after a while, some more variations on 16th, or 32nd would be great, just to add a little spice. The overall sound is a little dull, needs to brighter to add a little punch to the track. As Nosrac already mentioned, there is a "feedback" hum at the beginning and end of the track, I see your explanation, although you should make an effort to have this corrected.

Overall, great to hear something from the dungeon! always a pleasure, and top quality tracks with a unique sound and approach, song structure is always very stong. Great work!

synths are nice indeed , verry chill too .
drums n overall could be louder.
good use of vocals.
I'm not really fond of this style as you know but still it's a good neuro-jump-up track.
I'm missing a wobby bass inhere Frown
sub is good , maybe filter the crisp off.
Overall is decent but not convincing me to jump on the dancefloor Tongue , keep up the production Stick

dirt,,,

Great intro,, thing sound good, melodys very nice,, atmospheres go nicely

This track is very electro, like alot of john bs new stuff,, nice!!! That sub bass is sick, with that first bass line, wicked,

The first switch , i think is a bit early , but nice,, thats a cool noise u use..

Drums sound. good, But i think some more hi end, or more layering of the cymbals.

All in all the mix is great, no problem there, very few in the track,, amazing work.
