love that intro it gives a good atmosphere. good work with the vocals they fit real nice. i think tht the intro could do with a lil equlising. the breakdown at 1.25 where is starts goin slow. that is a bit sudden. but the drop afta that is good man. its got a nice oldskool feel to it with that melody. itz starting to get a bit repetetive. ohh another nice drop. the bass tho mabye needs a lil tuning i dnt reali like that sound. or it needs to be made to sound bigger if u kno what i mean. 3rd drop good but strage noise. the drums are hard and fast thats what i like. they are very wel layerd...

Cheers for the listen and comments Mr P.

Yeah - the weird noise is meant to be the aliens Shocked although I heard it out loud just today and its a bit muddy. I was aware that the lead in the first drop was a bit repetitive, but I hoped the variances in the subs might make it ok - I'll have a re-think on the leads...

Cheers Bigup

I like the drums they are not too repetitiive. I thought the synth part was too overbearing sometimes, but it also sounds like you were fading it with a mixer because it isn't a perfect cut everytime. I like that fading because it sounds more true to a live dj mix.

@ auralchaos - thanks, I try not to use the same drumloop all the way through my tracks Big Grin but I'm really not following with the fading cuts and live dj mix bit???

@ Kemix - awesome review mate, cheers! (The cheque is in the post Wink )
It would be lovely if that were all true, but I'm afraid I wouldn't even rate this track that highly Big Grin

Anybody wanna give this some harsh criticism? Would be good to finish this off. Cheers for all comments so far.

oooo nice shit...
like the scifi evil pad at the intro... nice dely'd stabs... congas are sweet.. so are your drums Smile sweetness.
vocals are cool, could probably be abit higher in volume but meh.
build to drop is cool. drop is alright, not really feeling the saw pad thing that much... second actual bass drop is cool, really dont like saw pad thingy. some distorted bass action.... drops alright, although i dont think it really fits with the rest of the sounds that well... your drums are vry cool, nice change ups n shit. has got n oldskool feel with newskool flavour Tongue
break is cool and the drop is cooler then the first which what u always want i spose. oooo nice roll tom drum action... i love those but neva chuk em in my tunes :/
overall mix down sounds pretty good... although i really didnt like that other sawish type synth. the ones u got going after the break are cool.
cool original sorta shit man...
keep em coming Bigup

Thanks loads for the feedback guys.. Bigup

2nd edit (right click save as)

I've made quite a few changes to the bass leads in the track, and got that big farty saw bass outta the picture. I'd had my doubts about it too...

Hopefully things are a bit better interconnected now, only slight worry is that the drums might be drowned slightly after the switch 3 measures after the first drop - back on the crap headphones again grr! so can't be sure...

yea man great tune. good vibes in the intro like the pads Smile . good drums on this one. programmed by yourself? or is it kinda amen loop? drum choppage/slicing is great. deep bass and an overall very good production. the style is great as well. gonna keep that name in mind :-)

slow melodic electric intro puts you into the zone so when the bongo rhythm and the snares and kicks come in its no surprise. So far I feel that this is true, we are seeing and hearing alien evidence and have made contact. We wait to see what happens when we come face to face with these creatures. The answer comes and its a competition, a competition of which race can dance and move the best. Starfleet or klingon? Drums here roll to the point amateurs would have no clue, cant say that I even do. Younglings'll be dazed as if drug'd, having in them no choice but to dance. Electricity, Its powerful yet not menacing. Its ok to near it. Electricity a powerfull component of the aliens. Break is Confusing in the track just as the question to the situation, but the beats come back and remind us that this is a battle. But of course it is. It is the skill of an otherworldly entity doin its thang and it goes by the name w trouble. Track ends instantly leaving the listener to ponder if he or she can believe that they just made contact. Of course you did idiots look at the world left all in rubble.
