I never said they formed the KLA, I meant that they funded them during the war and that the KLA had members of the Mujahadeen from Afghanistan (now known as Al Qaeda) fighting for them. That's all true isn't it?

I think it was during Reagan's time that Al Qaeda was formed, he said they were heroic freedom fighters at the time or something equally stupid. But Bush did run the CIA at the time so he probably was the one who set them up originally.
