I was last year at ed rush & optical, stayed almost till the end and there was no clownstep whatsoever 
tho I wouldnt call it techy as hell.. it was typical ed rush set with long buildups, unexpected ends, rewinds etc. crowd went crazy

Well, was the same with me, until June. I had seen Ed Rush 2 times a few years back (2002 and/or 2003, not sure) and he was GREAT then. Oh boy, was I dissapointed last time!!!

yeah well i just saw opticals top 5 and number 1 was some stupid ass clownstep tune by some stupid ass clown step producer... cant remember but its one of those dumb clown fuckers thats big.
but yeah fuck i hope they dont play any of that shit....
im hopin they keep it real.... with the dark tekky shit that they are known for. other wise im gonna get up and shoot ed rush in the head. and team up with optical lol

actually virus vaults is an lp with only older (97-2002) tunes from ed rush, optical, ryme tyme that were never released.
I think its gonna be released on double cd, no vinyl release unfortunately.

In the uk though clownstep is huge we had our time for breaks in the clubs which is all the kind of tracks you all love here, clipz is huge in the uk along with other jump up style artists like hazard etc
