Please check out my new track 'BEAUTIFUll MELODY' and post your comments here!!!
Let me know what you think. A little slower than some of what I have heard on this site, yet I still tap my feet when I hear it. Have a Good One....
This track has been deleted. Reason: Only DnB allowed, this tune was not DnB

first of all the tempo is way too slow this is rather a electro bpm. then it is a bit too overwelming from the start. Imo the synths are way too cheap sounding. It could be a way over the top entry for the eurovision song contest sung by Liliane St Piere. then level the kick a bit, it blows the ears.
nope this just aint my thing!
sorry
1,5/5
cheers

you said tapping your feet. well I dont think Id do something else. like dance to it
I must say its relatively ok if youre into this kind of "eurovision" or beach bar production. the melody and the sound is so blowing up my arse, I feel it can lift me off the ground. why do you do it? makes for shallow, unmemorable consumer music. make the audience scared or exhillarated, ecstatic in any way. this makes me too indiferent.
and this is not drum and bass since its so slooow and there is no bass. there is that tom tho its no bass really. and the deep kick is suited for house music.. I'm not telling you how you should produce, but the dnb crowd would give zero respect for this. Im not saying you should care for the dnb-heads either. even the softest dnb has beats that punch, not float in the air like yours..
this doesnt have anything good I can say about it, sorry. I hope you at least move me a bit with your next try

ok,
I know exactly what the problem is with this song.
The melody sounds nice, but where is the structure ? The variations follow too quickly and the drums need to be more sophisticated. But, hey, if you keep that melody and give it better bass and structure, then there are nice possibilities.
Keep on going, you'll get there sooner then you think !

as we've established this cannot really be described as drum and bass, so I cannot really review as such.
What I will say briefly is that this kinda has a euro-cheese feel to it, some of the synths remind me of being in the sort of nightclub you might end up in on a staff night out. Not the sort of sounds I'd go for anyway, but then, I don't write this kinda stuff!
The synth that comes in at 1:23, in terms of voice and melody, sounds like a carbon copy of an old dance track - 'for what you dream of' by bedrock I think?? - it's in Trainspotting anyway. Is it a sample even?
The reason I say that is there is that it sounds to me like something has been time stretched slower and is causing some issues - may not be though.
My advice - Up the tempo, get some Dom and Roland style breaks in there, pummeling subs, sick spooky atmospheres, and finish off with some Pendulum style production qualities and bingo - you're there!
Peace

Wow, what a beat. Nice one, but electro definetily... this not dnb, my man.
Nice melody, and those instruments are great - except that love-my-body-and-my-soul-Ibiza-synths, which I personaly don't fancy too much.
But here it sounds great.
I gotta announce that your beat is not even breakbeat... I mean, it has some elements, but overall...nah...
Nice combinations and travelling through the vibe.. but you have parts that have only 1 sound (like 1:10 to 1:12) and their feel is like... I don't know, too noobie.. too newbie electro...
You have no real structure, I mean, you experiment a lot and I give you MASSIVE RESPECT for that... but if you wanna get signed, you need to have some structure and build-ups.. definitely build-ups!!
Anyway, nice sound, soundwize those hats should be louder, and the kick should be a bit more punchy... try using a compressor with fast attack time or sumthing...
The tune becomes a bit boring, dude. You need to add a synth-or-two more. This is because you repeat the same melodies, and you play games only with their combinations, but the melodies remain the same.
Break the predictability, and you got yourself a tune overthere!
for dnb: 2/10
non-dnb: 6/10
peace,
