Please check out my new track 'Ankle Biter (small break dub)' and post your comments here!!!
i made a small breakdown in this one...i`m trying to come up with a transitional part instead of using a breakdown altogether....i feel that breakdowns are played out unless there is something really fancy about them but 9 outta 10 times they`re lame and predictable....

damn man, such a bummer, the tune sounds like it would be pretty good but the shitty mix-down just killed it for me. everything sounds really bad, and im hopin' i aint the only one to notice this. breaks are really thin and kinda hard to hear, bass is all over th eplace and it seems pretty top heavy. sorry i can't sit here and tell you much better. i just think you should take time to make this one sound better and repost it possibly as i'd really like to hear it the proper way.

shitty soundcard = shitty mixdown = wouldn`t upload a flawless mix anyway because of it not being copyrighted

it's cool man, just don't take my review hard tho, i'm not trying to downrate it, im just saying in order for me to place a more thorough review i need a bit of a better mix, just kind ahelps me get in the groove a bit more. like i said tho, it sounds like you got a good track idea, just the sound quality wasn't very appealing to me, but others may disagree.

it`s aight...i think the problem lies in the area of the 24 to 16 bit conversion...i know you`re supposed to dither everything but i still lose sound quality no matter what...i`ve tried everything...even subtractive eqing it`s definitely my soundcard....everything always sounds great until i do the actual mixdown then there is always something that don`t seem the same...i even layer all my drums and export them into 4 bar sections and reimport the sections as audio into cubase also do that with some synths...like i said everything sounds good and looks good on an audio spectrum and then in the final mixdown something always ends up getting eaten...any suggestions?

Yeah, nice intro I really like the drums and the vocal. The bass at 0:43 fits very well in the atmophere of the pad/string. The bells are well introduced. Actually, I can't give any negative comments. It's dark and it has great vibe. The structure is great and the variations are perfect. This is what I like !! You're the best I heard so far and I hope to hear more of this in the future. Damn, I really like the drums !
Keep on going !

does that mean you would purposedly cut the quality down of the mix? doesnt make sense, man. I mean here we are, commenting stuff you already know because of that, which you already know. whats the point of giving production tips?
wouldnt worry about copyrights, if someone steals the track you should be happy if he makes a fortune. then you can sue his ass as only you have the original project file. unless you ripped it off someone else too lol
whats your soundcard? try doing a 16bit mix at first instead if you havent done that already
anyway heres the review
mixdown does suck big time, everything is way too thin. but I like this track, primarily because of the basslline, you seem to know what youre doing.
well not much else to say really. sort the mixdown and your ready to hit a label dude
