OK, I'm giving this to you since I'm not sure if there'll ever be more than just this preview.

I got them weird juicy drums going, which I love, and the basslines are dark and dirty, which I like, but the vocals... yeah, you know...

high vintage stuff is a bit loud imo , fade them in maybe.
Reese previews sound phat ...
Drop massive but subkick (?) is too sub .
Drums are nice made ( a bit mo cutting variation could be pleasant Tongue

)

neurofunky feeling is nice but there kinda 'ruis' on the breakdown.
Drop is better than fistone , still not font of the subkick.

nice nice , but 'jammer' from the subkick-thing , or maybe it's just my speakers compared with yours.

damn, good to see ya bringin the ruckus again surya. somehow ive overlooked this one, just happen to spot it off reckons profile he was viewing this thread lol. shit sounds pretty intense, but as you said, the vocals, umm yeah lol. breaks are indeed nice and phat. basslines crunchy and distorted nicely. you got alot of good action goin' down in this. im not certain tho that the trancey synths fit with this one tho, maybe another type of grittier synth would replace it well. at least i would. but overall man this shits hittin hard, i definitely would like to see you finish and submit it, would be interesting to see what else you could do to this. I was checking out a few of the track's on acid planit earlier today so this should be interesting,..something's way too reverby,..sound's like the kick,..and or the drum's in general...fuck i don't know but way too much reverb goin on imo,.. unless you wanted it that way,.. but tightening thing's up would sound much better imo... vocal mashin is the best ive heard yet..i ain't heard the sample's you guy's were uzin so there ain't much i can say,.. but i certianly think you should finish and enter this masher!! yeah vocals totally dont fit here.
but i do like the vocal track for the song. guess im too poppy for dnb sometimes. Big Grin

track doesnt really seem to carry much speed at all. but very nice and heavy. but if you can get it this far im sure you can fix the speed thing.
nice but doesnt feel like an honest track, you can tell that u were bein forced to do things you don't usually like to do with the vocals.

Bookah! this track is seriously rinsin. I think maybe you should switch up those drums a bit more during the first drop just make them a bit more erratic, out of control. Bassline is grimey as fuck & that synth you added really sounds nice - this is good shit.

choice of sounds is ace.
basses are heavy n nice.
the intro is good with the delyd cool synth... althuogh i dont really like the hats used in the intro. the reece comes in nice indeed.
kit is sweet.
just need abit of eq work....

holy shit! those drums do stomp! slow and heavy. yeah you just about defined it, just barely I can connect this with noisia's sweet dreams.

but.. somethings bothering. its the kick, its powerful, and all but maybe a bit off key with the rest? yeah either that or its my ears. hmmm nobody else noticed.

youve got some nice sounds and atmospherics in this preview, trouble is they all are somewhat weak compared to the insane drum section. Id love to hear some ripping distorted synths. basslines on the other hand work well

if you dont finish, it would be a waste of some wicked power and energy you're blasting away with this

Yeah, I know, I'd like that too. But the problem is that the drums are so all over the pace that it's hard to put anything in there and still make it stand out, that's why thisone's so hard to EQ. I don't wanna cut some freq's from the beats, coz they get weak, but I can't make the other stuff stand out without making them too loud. That's why I went for the trancey synth, coz that still sounds rather good in the mix...

It's the kick then,..that big thumpy kick sounds terrible imo,..it must be the quality of the sample you were givin,..sound's like there's lot's of reverb on it...It takes away from all the other sick elements in the track which are really good,..maybe try it with a different kick,..cheers. Some folks may obviously like the huge kick..so just me wee opinion really..

Nah, that's a kick that was not in the samplepack, it's one I made myself, it's exactly how I wanted it! Tongue

LOL! Not what I expected to see 'Aphrodite (Surya remix).' F*CKING SWEET! I really like this and fully support you finishing this tune. This for a remix comp? I say it's in the bag!! Where can I vote?
That second drop is really nice. The bassline has alot of soul and feeling. I'm not sure how the original bass line went (although I have an idea), but this one is probably better.
I love those drums! They remind me of some Keaton stuff when he lets it LOOSE!!!
Vocals sound good. I say u keep em in there! 10/10

Isn't a mash-up when u creatively mix 2 songs into one? Wouldn't this just be a remix?

Finally a new surya track. Man I hate that vocal so much. I like the break beat part in the intro. That was strange I was waiting for a different kind of beat just my opinion. The track sounds beautiful though. Nothing a don't like.
