I used something that had "red" in its name, not sure about the "stripe"
it was ok, if I remember correctly it had a pretty hard snare and an amen loop among other samples

noooooo you just have to sign up.....you dont have to be registered for anything.
basically they did it because everyone was downloading the cracked version instead of buying it......

Yeah, Reason is supposed to be an all in one virtual studio, ReBirth is just a 303, 808 and 909 emulator. ReWire it to any ReWire host!

try the bit torrent download for real. they suggest using Azureas which i did and got it fairly fast... although i have no use for torrents..
So have any of you actually got it? cause they want you to burn the iso to disk and keep the shit on disk to use everytime you use the prog... cant figure out which files to copy or what to label the disk as... anyone got some info here cause the website didnt tell me shit..
i wasted 6 cd-rs yuesterday/...

or you could just unpackage it all the way down to the core files (unpack 2 times i think) adn burn it using any old cd burner thingy...
very important label the disk : RB338V20
and it works...
digging through the rebirth site and found a guy who set it up step by step ..
but thanks for the cynik

it's very obsolete.. it's got two oscilator synths for 303 acid sound emulation, two 16 step drum sequencers, one standard hp/lp/bp filter assiganable to any of the machines, and distortion, hardly that two fx I would imagine any of us would have use of, since it can be rewired. no standard sequencer window but everything is automated through the record mode.
IMO it was pretty neat when it came out, which was long ago.. but it was the first anolgue machine emulator.. I went crazy at my mates when we assigned a midi synth to it.. twisting knobs!

Well, it's very good at what it does: emulating the 303, 808 and 909. If that's what you're looking for, than this is for you. You can rewire it to your favorite audio program if you want. Don't expect to make complete tracks with only ReBirth though, it's too limited for that.
