Please check out my new track 'pick & choose' and post your comments here!!!

the intro seems long to me, i wanted to exercise a idea... not sure if it worked. it gives plenty of time to mix! the tune is a long time coming. i want to move on and get going to the next track. just let me know what you think....thanks. to give a desciption... hmmm. its a slow walk through time.

Drumz- need more layers

Atmo- come up a bit

Synths- need to come up, layer them also

Some of the things I feel the song needs is sub bass, bass kick layers, and a little less reverb. I don't recomend reverb on drums or bass, unless it is very, very little. I posted a link to an article (about reverb/ fx) that I found very helpful and I previously shared it with others. I hope I helped in giving useful feed back. Z

Basicly, eq diff kicks on top of each other to make a better more full kick. You can double the snare the same way. If you are using loops then double the pattern, one EQ'ed high one low might work... There are alot of ways you can do it. I will see if I can find you a good article that will explain it better, that I am no good at. Showing you in person would be easy. Z

the vibe is good, although the beats are a bit thin sounding....when nick says layer he means exactly that, try using two or three (or four - however many sound best) kicks running the same pattern, this way you can capture the low the mid and the high of a kick sound, the same aplies to the snares hats etc.....the programming isnt bad at all.....and the atmos is cool....its just lacking a little punch, and a little low end.......

hey man, not too bad. i was kinda feeling tho as you said the intro was a bit long for my tastes tho. I know with a track this long tho, you better be expecting a long ass intro tho. but it's cool, i made it through. i hear ya running that time stretch on the vocal samp around the 3:00 mark. sounded pretty cool. i always loved dem granulizer sounds. your breaks edits are pretty tight too man, now as the others said, just more beef on them perhaps, so they don't sound soo paper thin. maybe that was the sound you was trying to achieve so it's cool if so. think maybe you should've punched up the lower end a bit more. sounds like you were hesitating with pushing it cuz had it had a few more dB on it, that shit would be like an earthquake. im pushing max on the bass eq right now and it's leaving me wanting more. the rest of the track seems to just flow tho man, pretty good. not sure what else i can say beyond those points as pretty much the rest of the track maintains the same tone. good flippin' the beats @ the 7:11 mark. i always enjoy them, gives a good feel to a track. So, if ya plan on redoing this one, just phatten up them beats as the others stated with layering. they sound pretty clean tho, nice and crisp. at least thats how my ears are hearing them, just make 'em pound more. sound slike you got alot of space in this track to play with on the frequencies, so make good use of them and fill it up, especially with the bass. good tune tho overall....
