Please check out my new track 'The Beast [Release]' and post your comments here!!!
A million half assed clips later I've finally sat down and let loose and this is what I managed to come up with. I was experimenting with this reverb trick I picked up somewhere along the lines and came up with this wikkid ass vocal sample in the beginning of the track. Other than that, enjoy and please be honest on what you guys are thinkin' of this number. I feel pretty good with it for the most part but there's gonna be a share who ain't feelin' it. All good tho...enjoy!

Oh dam son, phat distorted bass is allway's a treat. What th hell are you using to get that dist. Dig the wind. That growl at>3:16 would sound sick with some bass. Growl Sounded hp filtered? Level's are all good. Dig the sample that hit's at>4:16 add's nicely to the mayham. Very phat work indeed Optic. Don't really know about the growl, maybe that was the quality of the sample or you just wanted it that way. Bass or no bass on the growl this tune is pure phattness man!Cheers.

Yo man, big upz for the words man, glad ya liked. Yeah, the growl i ende dup runnin' through a filter for that last part just. it was more intentional at first but the mor ei sit and listen to it, maybe i shoulda bassed it. Oh well, lol, too much a pain in the ass to have to go back and rework that shit for that. But thanks again man for the time, and just so you know, the bassline is alot of passing back and forth between wavelab and FL Studio to try and get the sound i wanted, but i basically only used the FL fast distortion plug for getting that distortion goin, the rest is alot of eq'ing and filtering. Take it EZ bro.

i really like the intro...drop is pretty heavy, as is the entire tune...sound quality is pretty good as well, but this tune reminded me a bit too much of old dillinja mixed with some older hardware stuff, almost like you tried to sound like someone else rather than create your own style, which is a bit of a disappointment...but production-wise, it's spot on

Nice. Intro and drop are choice!
love the reverse vocal reverb and tiger grouwl... real meanly excecuted drop. Sounds fat even in my shitty earbuds so the kick and snares are spot on the punchy side.
I think it be better if the cool-down started more on the tame side and worked way up rather than the other way around but thats just me. drop is nice though still.
Wouldve liked if you offered something fresh after the second drop though.
Pretty solid track though, nicely done

thanks for the words dave, big ups to you. yeah, i never really intended for it to sound like a dillinja rip off, now i listen more it does kinda sound like that.
Shit just started flowing and this is what came of it but i'm gonna start looking at my approach to tunes alot closer in the future and trying to changeup my sound. I'm thinking it's about time to start taking a new approach to my music. Thanks for looking out bro.

hmm. How ya been man? Sounds a lot different, also not as appleaing to me as your other stuff. Just kinda of the simple drums and stabby bass isnt on that gets to me. personally i cant listening to dillinja and as dave said it does sound like it. personal pref. i guess. sounds nice and full though, just wish it could of been a bit more like your own style.

i really dig how the the whole tune keeps moving... never does it seem to wear out any one sample or riff. the erie feel is not for the faint of heart. the animal sounds are an idea i have been wanting to work out... i kinda wanted to use a time strectch/vocoder... i could see the samples you used maybe needing a bit of computer aided goodness... i cannot seem to pick much more apart. this tune is done right...the outro starts to break down a bit, feels like there should be some drums and atmosphere to end it with a 16 count. i really liked your "sound of the box" tune on seattlednb. very nice. you should post it here as well.

Intro is special n very cool with loads of samples n effects.
drop could be some louder when you compare it with the intro.
massive basses wich i like.
Shit you improved much
, and such a nice EQ !
Sounds verry proffessional.
drums are good too as for the sub and in fact all the sounds.
Best track from you up to now.
Nothing else to remark , just enjoying the sound...
very nice track 9/10

intro sounds are nice man... like the delyd stab, and the reverb'd trippy thing in the intro. the vocals are twisted, and the beast roar is tuff. drop is phatty goodness, i liked it. sub is heavy
nice distorted layers.
i dunno could probably drop some heavy tight ride cymbals n shit, and double up on the hats maybe. second drop riffs are tuff. fkn nice work man. atmosphere is tight, same with production, levels seem nice. maybe too much sub, maybe need to normalize the whole track, if u know what im sayin. drums are nice n dirty, they do the job. keep up the phatty work mate. enjoy it.
