Nice beat and atmo... I feel it now... great strings. Maybe they lack a bit high freqs, but are ok like this...
The hats are great but they have too much HIGHEST FREQS, try killing some (abouve 16 000 Hz) because they sound too hissy.
Nice atmo in the pause.. the buildup I can feel now, nice sounds, wow what an atmo... great kick combination with those hats in the build up - I can really feel it. But those strings in the background can't be heard good enuf, as with some background sounds..
the sub is too loud compared to the rest of the sounds, try lowering it. I guess you overcompressed the tune because the bass can be heard clearly, but makes disturbances to the other sounds...
Anyway, I can't finish this review because my computer threathens to me with shut down procedure, so I opt to finish as quick as possible
7/10

Sup man, i actually had to download this to the local drive when you first posted it up as i was kinda pressing for time so im givin it anothe rlisten. tracks got good and bad points. Good points are it sounds like it would be a real worthy tune which brings me to the bad points...the eq'ing. i know everyone else said it but it almost sounds like you sucked alot of mid range to the beginning of the real highend and kept the low end. It's got some sparkle but alot of frequencies are missing. Personally for me, cuz you asked, I'd recommend the Waves Q8 Paragraphic EQ. Not sure exactly what you wer elooking for in terms of availablility and ease of use on an EQ, but I use the Waves alotfor final mastering. I use the parametric EQ in FL studio tho while im working on a track just to get sounds to sit somewhat how I want them. There's a gazillion options you got tho for EQualizers tho. Just gotta experiment and see what works for you tho. Here's a good place to start man with looking for EQ's...
and just brose all the types of Eq's available and see what fits your needs. But yeah, as others said too, the bassline was trying to break through but something was holding it back. Maybe overcompressed as Muad said? But I enjoy the track, just think it's got some flaws and I know you can do better. Hope I was able to be of some sort of help man.
yeah, soundwise fucked up. dont really know how you got that kind of sound. seems like its filtered to hell and back. is there a filter on the master channel? likely so, only way to describe thos sweeps which drive this whole thing all the way across the frequency spectrum
anyhow, I really liked the vibe this creates. well as much as it could be experienced due to the soundquality. very electronical style, nice buildups and drops. nice use of the vocal sample. the trumpet synth maybe sounds too digital
thanks for the comments everyone, they have been really, helpful.
already had a go EQing it and its sounding a shitload better ( i'm still at a loss as to how to go so fucked up in the first place.) there 's a decent tune there dying to get out from behind a swathe of fucked up EQing.
I have over 30 of the waves plug-ins and I highly recomend them to anyone! Even if you have to choke fuck someone to get them! The Platinum bundle will satisfy all of your production needs, but it's $4200... I like most of the plug-ins in there, but use the the REN EQ and the 6 band EQ the most! Z

cool vibes.....although the beats sound a bit metallic and a little distant...could be the conversion i guess.......
maybe a little to much reverb in places......
man i like this..the tune is very very good.....but the sound needs an overhaul...... it really needs another mixdown.....badly......
put it on a disk, and leave it for a while.......then come back to it at january next year......do a few more mixdowns....then send it to some labels.....its a summer tune.....
id love to do a remix.....pm me if your interested.....
