Yo man, here's some threads i found which might be of interest to you...
Frequency question
A complete EQ and Compression tutorial - Found this one through a thread on the boards, it's off-site but looks pretty good. Props to CH3M!K for the link.
But onto the track man, pretty hefty shizzle. Intro was pretty descent then the drop at like 1:30 was like woah. Sounds pretty solid overall tho man. I'm not sure what all I can say as far as structuring and overall composition as it sounds pretty spot on to me. Just seems maybe some eq'ing like you said would have maybe worked nicely. Like after things dropped, maybe the bass was perhaps a bit overpowering of the breaks. Just seems to me like everything was kinda clashing. Maybe it's just the way I am tho. Not that it's overly unbearable, as I generally like my tunes ruff and maximized to the most. it's just a personal taste tho. Synths were pretty nice too man, gave it a nice twisted feel. Feelin' this fo sure.

Right on bro, no prob. Just do a board search for "EQ'ing". It'll turn up quite a bit of stuff.

oh if u could eq well this would off the hook lol...
the intro sounds are aalright... the drums are cool, pretty crazy but cool indeed. the build before the drop is cool. then drops into some madd heavy ass mental bassline, which would prolly make me wanna punch someone in the face while dancing to it in a club lol. cool arrangment... some of the levels are off, and things could be eq better. but still phat ideas. it goes for abit long. the middle gets abit boring, but then slams in again.
nice tune man

Intro is allright
Drop: quite cool, but the drums need reEQing. The hats and stuff are too loud, the snare lacks high-end, making it drown in the mix. The kick could kick a bit more too.
The structure could be improved too imo. The parts without the main theme are much longer than the parts with. People want to shake their asses, and are most likely to do that in the parts with the main theme, so make sure these parts are the biggest part of your tunes!

intro hats drop to hard , maybe soften it with an FX fade in ?
Too much high end on the drums imo.
buildup n drop R massive ! Well done mate.
maybe boost the bass around 250 Hz .
...yeh eqing needs some work.
synth is really depressin after a while
.
But yo drops are 'Bam' , nice.
Cool track thats needs some EQing .

cool intro synths...hats are way stiff sounding at first, but then you changed it up realy nicely... I see what you mean about the EQ... drop is OK but IMO you need more of a breakdown and build more anticipation. Some type of vocal hook would be nice in here. Not bad, I would like to listen again once you get the EQ sorted.
