Please check out my new track 'Insight (into your mind preview)**' and post your comments here!!!
Ok...so my last 2 lil previews got good feedback, but i honestly fucking hate them both so i scrapped them, and decided to mix the 2...
This one comes at you with techstep breaks, with some change ups, and a similar rolling lead...only a lil more chorusy...
I also threw in some ravy synths everyone seems to be using again...(ATM theyre cheesy ravy samples, but ill get some nice juno shit in there eventually)
Basically a simple very High Spirited track for me, where as most of my shit is dark and almost depressing...
This one gets you jumping... So start jumpin...
Feedback Appreciated...
So far made with........
FL Studio 5.0
Absynth
loads of samples
Vangaurd 1.50
z3ta
and too many vst's to list
This track has been deleted because a new version is available

drums are allways amazing from you , intro goes well as for the rave.
chorus isnt my fav. , drums are
, sub bassline too.
Melodies are all short , puchy things , put in some long strings , raves and whatever (like that chorus thing , but then not chorused)
Nice preview.

Nice intro with nice sounds, twists and lotsa cool drums
Bass kicking in: seems too loud, the sound clips. I guess you did your mixdown at a too high level.
When the most sounds drop and there's only sub and beats, the sub is out of key.
Lots of potential, thisone, work on it!

dude, ill tell ya what, you are one break beat ass cuttin' muthafuckah...ive really been impressed with your break work since your sample pack you pushed out. i haven't really heard alot of your older stuff, so im not really sure how much you've progressed, but really, the breaks are nice man. the rest of the track seems a little stale tho. alot of the levels are outta wack so its hard to get a good groove goin on, but your idea is solid. i like where you're goin' with this soo far. im obviously not gonna go in depth on the little shit like eq'ing and everything cuz, well, its just obvious its a rough outline, but i thought to at least say i like where ya's goin with it. wonderin if you plan on finishin' it out? it'd be nice to see how you finish it. ive been kinda in that damn rut myself tho man, get goin' on one thing, get about 2 minutes worth of shit and move to somethin' else. its a phase man. good shit tho, work it.

Well, i don't get to download that many tracks 'cause it takes fucking ages on my 56k! But i liked your "ionic" track so thought this one might be worth a listen
OK, as other ppl said, the bass and lead are out of key but they sound good individually tho. The drum programming is wicked, love it.
I like the ravey stabs too, gives the track a sorta old skool feel and there's nothing wrong with that at all.
The bit where it goes silent just before the drop sounds too abrupt - smooth it out some. Also, maybe i'm being a bit too picky here, but i noticed a click at the beginning of the "crazy mofo" sample, sounds like you haven't cut it properly or something... i would maybe increase the attack time slightly or resample it.
Overall nice track, just get the lead/bass in key and sort out the silence bit before the drop
On a side note - i hope you haven't deleted the "Ionic track" from your PC dude. That track has so much potential... you're a bloody fool if you have, lol

Nah i havent deleted ionic...but its shit...its complete utter shit...tha track will go nowhre...and those are just the facts...but youre the 3rd person to comment on teh key of the bass...and its been changed but it sounds 100% fine with me...maybe i uploaded a different version from when i changed it, i dont remember, but if im correct the sub sould be in the right key...if its still not when i upload the final, someone help me out cause im just not hearing it...its not a standard tuning for the bass either though, both the lead and the sub are tuned up 12 cents...

You know what dude... when you're making a track and listening to it over and over, you can often end up hating it... even if its good.
Believe me, Ionic is not shite - and if i'm not mistaken, it is one of the top d/loads this month and has lots of positive feedback from ppl. Don't give up on it!!! I for one would love to hear the finished version...
OK, i'll stop bugging you now... i just had to mention it!!!!

it may be good for what it is, and i appreciate all teh goodfeedback from it, but i tend to judge myself by comparing it to already signed tracks..and IMO....ionic is complete crap...the sounds suck...its just chaos...even standing as a tech-itch type track...its lame...and its not because i listened to it over and over again...you jsut cant do anything more with it...it is what it is, and relaly cant be added on to...its...crap...lol

this tune commands respect with its big sound. i like the drops, it seems like they are waiting for you, the reece sound is played out hella, twist up your own, you will be happy. the bass is too heavy in places, bit of clipping. the drums and edits are perfect. the first drop sucks you in proper. the changes are smooth. i like the addition/ subtraction of the main samples. don't over use the vocal sample, maybe chop it up a bit and do a cra cra crazy mu mu crazy mutha fuka. i dunno something besides the same bit over and over and over. the music flows well and keeps me guessing what the next edit will go into, use the two step breakdown for a bit longer! it holds a bit of power. nice tune. wish the mixdown was a bit clearer, most likely the convert did the clutter of the highs not part of the drums. the drums are solid. wish the intro drums weren't all choppy edit style. i like to hear a easy clean intro to mix. the mix was easy to make after the first drop. very clean programing in the end of ends. 8/10
