Damn, me and my half assed ideas. Sorry for drivin' everyone nutz with these partially done tunes. Just right now I'm kinda goin' through a little phase trying to feel out some new stuff and reshape my sounds. Well, to the track...i got kinda inspired by one of the threads her eon the boards about beatboxin' and never really thought to give it a shot. Sounded like a cool idea. So, I grabbed the mic, kicked out some kick and snares and hihats and other odd and end vocals and this is what i came up with. I figured with all the overused voc samples and copyright issues, i figured i'm gonna start experimenting with my own vocal stuff. Remember this is pretty ruff, comin' in tho longer than i normally do for a preview, and by the sounds of it, i'm gonna finish this bad boy out for sure. So hopefully the next time i post it's gonna be the finished deal and things will kinda flow for me from that point out. I've just been finding it kinda hard to get inspired to come up with stuff lately. Anyhow, be honest guys. I can understand if it's a crazy ass idea and i aint trying to rip anyones styles, it just sounded like somethin' different to try *shrug*
sounds really full, lots of cool sounds and vocals.. good work

bass is massive but kinda overpowered by the higher freqs

big ups reckon, yeah, its pretty overdosed right now, this track was a straight render right out the sequencer so the highs and lows are just pretty much mashed right now, but i figure once it all gets in place, ill go back and re-level it all out properly, or at least try to, lol. thanks again man, glad ya liked tho.
Wicked man! That intro is fuckin hot! Those samples are totally ill! I would totally play this one man. I like everything about this one lets hear the rest.

really love what you have done with the vocals really sounds good but to me this track dont sound original ive heard this stuff a long time ago sorry if it dont really sound positive about the track but i do love what you have done with tune its just not original for me 7/10

no worries bro...yeah i know this kinda thing has been pulled off at least a half dozen times by other artists and even better too, but i just thought to try something different. no worries about the honesty tho man, i didn't think it would fly over well with everyone, and i can live with that. it wa smore or less just a screw around session to see what i could do, but thanks for the words man, big upz...
Yeah everything sounds a bit too 'hi end' on the ear. The intro could do with beefin up or adding too. When it drops it doesnt sound rollin enough for me. Its heavy but not quite rolling. I think the drums could do with a change. Heavier with less tinny breaks perhaps? maybe some sick amens with a more continuos/ enegetic bline. just some ideas but they may take the feel you were aming for away from the track.

absolutely agree with ya on the hi end. i really didn't spend any time on proper eq'ing. just made some real fast adjustments to get things up to volume so everything is kinda screaming right now. i agree wholeheartedly on the breaks not rolling too. ive considering twisting up some amen edits in there too, but seems people have been complaining alot about amens in tracks, so i was kinda leary about doin' it. the bassline yeah, i agree, needs some serious ass work. thanks for the idea sman, i definitely take it all to mind and no harm in being brutally honest. its kinda what i prefer

the intro is groovy.
when the beat drops it's kinda underwhelming, doesnt make me wanna move as much as the intro suggested it might. needs some work.
beatboxing is kinda rough sounding, but pretty cool. love the 'beat box baby' part.
this really doesnt have too much originality in it tho, like vel said, heard it all before, so what i have positive to say basically comes from the knowledge that you ARE a good producer, and if you got your ideas straight you could make some bangin shit.
the hating on the amen thing is pretty much just me haha, i just dont like it how everyone takes that easy way out and throws an amen, firefight, tramen in there cuz it has good energy, without deciding to spend time looking for another break that's just as nice. i have hundreds of classic breaks in my collection, if anybody wanted them they could hit me up but for most people it seems that the mainstream ones do. they all wanna use the same beat, fine.
and ya i do use the amen myself but i try not to make it the main beat.
i liked the one you were doin for that compo better.

I'm a big fan of the basses u use dude! u know how to make a bassline kick big time! really heavy and subby which is the way it should be on heavy tracks. U gotta instill me with the knowledge bro

everythings cool so far.. sound choice well.. drop works good. cant say really anything bad here. its a very short preview
so in the end I would expect some drum variations as in bringing totally new stuff. dont get me wrong I liked the beatbox just can't imagine a whole 5-6-7 ore more minutes of it!
the synth is evol.
the distorted vox are cool. the drop is nice.
bass lines are nice n flow well, just abit of touch up on ze eq.
synths are cool. drums are nice. the hats drive it along.

Like the pause before the drop, those few seconds of antisapation was good. The drop was not bad, you don't need an Amen, so many drum loops out there! Half Price load a few dope ones in the downloads page and here is a link to many drumz you will dig!
Nice big intro man - really huge sound going on. The vocals are good - especially like the "he haaa!". Really full heavy subs but I'm not a big fan of the step beat, maybe because the beatboxed snare hits are a bit too airy. Otherwise nice start to a track bro - standard but professional and marketable sound. Finish all these budding gems off and get them sent away. Right on.
