Please check out my new track 'Shaman Ritual ' and post your comments here!!!

I personally don't like this track , it's like to boring ...
Flute noise is an abused samplesynth.
No firefights or amens this time

It's a bit dark/melancholic/techstep ....

If you thgink's it's too boring, then finish it. The one that creates the music is at the same time the most difficult critic

I hear no kick no hihats no cymbals, only snares. Spice up dem drums!
Atmosphere is nice enough, but you're right, it get's a bit boring, just experiment with the track, add elements, add, sounds,...

ah drop, better, but still, only snares... Tongue and your drums are very mechanic/robotic. Try either to quantize or 'humanize' your drumelements.
This track has a snake-charmer vibe around it, swing a pendulum in front of my nose and i'll go oozing off immediately.

Drums are all mid, like they're bandpassed. Give them more punch and shit. As Soi said: spice em up!

Basslines are quite cool, but they don't boast any bass. The sub could blend in a bit more.

yo,
enjoying the jungle style drum patterns in the intro and the smps in the background, however, would like to hear more kick and a tad more low end on the bass. Don't like the whistling sound at all although the kick gets much better. that whistle brings the track down tho. I agree with what you said
about the song getting boring but i think if the bass got stronger you could make variations more noticable and the song would sound less repetitive.
There are good things in the track tho...like the drum patterns which altho are a bit engine like are in my opinion cool.
thnks 4 the listen

yeah man, i really hope you don't mind me agreeing, but it is kinda boring. definitely just doesn't have anough impact. the flute sample, gotta go man. the breaks, well im sure you know about them, needs more overall in ya face punch. it just sounds kinda overall lifeless. i think you should get a better selection of atmosphere sounds to keep the whole track a little more busier, or a more catchy bassline melody. intro sounded ok, just when the drop came in, it didn't really make much of an impact. I think you also have alot of room to play with in the volume, just by looking at it, it looks like you still got roughly 5 or so Db of volume that is wasted. I think that kinda kills it too a bit. it's too quiet. maybe some more maximizing would have worked a treat for it. nice atempt man, but i know you can do better bro....so make it happen Tongue Bigup

well i like boring minimal dark stuff... so this is in my taste... drums get mad around 2 min mark at that drop, which sounds pretty wikkid. mad choice in sounds, besides that whistling synth noise, not down with that too much, but doesnt ruin the tune. i like the basslines. is there a kick in there at all? i think there is. the reece is nice man, nice sound. i just rekon the synths could be much better. and maybe tweak the drums that lil bit. and the vinyl reverse thing sounds pretty sik mate.
keep it up... you got the mad ideas bruz. Bigup 7/10
