Well, I'm back with some new material well underway, however, this is just a very small "teaser" clip of what it is. Unfortunately I can't give away much more as it's for a contest and that would just ruin it. So basically, what I'm wanting to know is this, does it sound promising? Does it sound lame? Any honest feedback is welcome cuz I'm having a bitch of a time with this and I need some motivation to finish it out, but I need to also know if I should ditch the concept and go with something else. Unfortunately I was limited to the sounds I could use so I'm sure most would recognize the breaks. All the vocal tracks were recorded by me, mostly out of sheer boredom and thought to try and spic eit up a bit. there is one female vocal tho, that aint mine, at least i hope not :-/ Anyhow, it might be a waste of time listening i dunno. its only like 1:30 but i got more underway. Who knows, I may go back anyways and rework everything, who knows....

I think your onto something here...intro sounds pretty hot. I think what makes this compo so difficult is the breaks provided. I see your tune probably developing into an amen juggling roller.
But yeah, this definately has potential. Damn impressing infact. Oh, voc's are cool.

thanks man. yeah, this is all just a real rough copy. i haven't even really worked any eq'ing so alot of the levels are way off, namely the bass. once i get everything going and get it rollin' the way i want to, ill be going back and leveling everything out and taming th ebass, but striving to keep it hitting hard. Glad ya liked it tho. Maybe I'll just change a few things up and keep the main idea.

liking the intro with the vocals and the hiphop beat at the start. the synths arn't to my taste tho. The drop is excellent, really made me wanna move!

yeah this tune is a badd booyyy
i like the synth riff, its nice. and the vocals are nice.
love the way the bass comes in. and the hip hop programd beats are nice. bass comes in sweet with the beats. could probably do some filtering on the synth as the drop comes.
and yeah the sub is abit high for normalized levels. its got phatty attitude. keep it up mate. Bigup

haha intro is tight. everything seems very clean.
i don't see anything wrong with it, except i was dying of anticipation for the "real" beat to come in, u kno?
the only thing wrong is that it's such a teaser...finish this for us, boi! how's that for motivation?

nice intro sounds....
the male voxs bits are cool...
the female vox is nice too....
the half speed break seams to dissaper behind the other sound.
it would be a cool drop but the beat sounds quite weak....
the bass line is real good though...

can you only use the break provided or can you add other to them?

it has promise....the ideas real strong.
just the beat isn't in ur face enougth...

This is a butch track. The intro will be 10/10 with some careful levelling.

As has already been mentioned, I'm waiting for the 'real' drums to kick in and give it some more beef.

Wow ! nice start man , filter the sub a litle bit...
Soundquality is awsome.
Drop lacks power , althouth the sounds are good.
Boost it up !
Tempo is a bit low imo , maybe a bit faster...
drums could be more full , fill the freq. (faster hats , and rides , ..., more snapping of the snare)

yeah man, from my understanding, you only can use the breaks they provided in the sample pack, but there are 3 of them so im trying out working with another one which sounds a hell of alot better than the one i used. but yeah, thanks guys, really appreciate th ehonest input. needs some serious overhauling, and at this point, im not sur eif its even gonna be ready in time...
