this is a unfinished track that sounds complete...it's going through some major overhauls and translations before i'll consider it done, and then i want to try to do something serious with it. still soulful jazzy stuff...i've dropped the name Darkside because people just expect hard crazy stuff from me, and decided to adopt the title "Project Blue". so PLEASE DON'T leave a review saying nothing but "i expected something dark"
Oh btw this track stemmed from a stumbling idea called "Come With Me (preview)" uploaded long ago; the name of the track and my artist name have changed since. Many changes going on.

What's up darkness? Cool tune! Sounds very musically inclined, nice and jazzy. It's not really my thang but I can tell a nice track when I hear one. Wow the guitar sounds cool it's a nice touch. Very nice. Yer getting good at this kind of dnb huh?

awwww nice... the bass is abit subby buts its still good. mad sax n piano... are they samples or did you compose all that? anyhoo its nice.
some really nice funkdup elements in there flowing well with each other very nicely, might need some overall eq work, but nice tune.
arrangment is good
production is alright, like the overall sound.
cool. keep up cool work.

damn, actually to be honest with ya man, i never could stand blues and jazzy stuff, but man, this was pretty well thought out and just had to say something. you did a real good job on this joint man. always nice to hear a change of pace from time to time. good snappy breaks and smooth elements. i enjoyed it bro. can't be too critical since i dont know shit when it comes to stuff like this, but as S.O.T.A. stated, i know a good thing when i hear it. good to sit back and blaze one to.

haha wondered if my track was gonna be rated down and hated, apparently so.
anyway thanks for those of you who actually wrote reviews, yes it does have eqing problems (one of the things im still planning to fix) and yes all of the instruments are soundfont multisamples, it's just something i like to call intelligent sampling, messing around with em until they sounds live-played. i did compose the melodies but they're not real piano/guitar/whatever.

where u get that sax sound from big fan. drums souund friggin mint, some more percussion would be nice tho, the piano is nice but think it should die out after the intro along the bassline, sumit a bit more lively , makes a nice intro tho, il be lloking out for your next tune. dave

aright darksite , some jazzy stuff...
Intro : jeazzy , nice n chill ...sub could be more sub , freq. donw n puch up.;. (boodst) ... drop is taking so long ... where"s the buildup. ??
Dromp: boost up the lower frequenties , lounge muszik , chilli pelpper , nce ... dropsome hiats/rides in it , ists like only drums n snare.. and puchs the sub...
sounds like jump up wohithout a nasss (bass)
verry atmospheric ... maybye a vocal would fit in it (noegro volcal)
rest: go's allright with me ... just some more sounds to sound more dnb (jumppup in this case)
2nd drop: is thesre one ? ...make some buildups (10 sec or somt n)
outro ... ? bad one , moake it fade out ...
chille but nort fery special...
liked yo other tracks more..

because somebody's being a little bitch and rating down all the people who really have talent on this site, so they can big up their own tracks.
don't worry about it, it gives me great pride to know that people are jealous of my skills. 
@ greyone: it's mucho different dnb, not the average structure. does need a vocal, that's another one of the changes i wanna work out.
i don't really like fadeouts in dnb...doesn't seem to work right.
but the end is gonna be completely overhauled anyway, it'll be better. for its tempo this track needs to be longer.

Very sweet drums! Love the snare!
Very jazzy and stuff, which I don't like at all, but very well done!
I kinda had the feeling it's more of a jazz tune with a DnB beat than a real DnB tune. Maybe a more dark bassline that growls a bit here and there would have given it more of a DnB feel...

yeah, it doesn't sound too much like drum n' bass because everything's acoustic or modeled acoustic. i want to experiment with some synthetic sounds, see what i can fit in. some roni-size style synths maybe.

fuck yes...a final version...(the dnb.be) so you have to give me the final final btich 
Love the intro... although its a bit un orthadox...the bass and shit all sounds beautifull...
The melodies and harmonies are great...right on...some disharmic sounding stuff in there...but tis fucking tight anyway, cause of the atmosphere...
drop...just lovely...to make the drop a lil more interesting...make less bass hits in teh intro, and in teh breakdown (although this is the dnb.be version) jsut a suggestion...
Guitar comes in...and some of the notes dont sound right, and others sound perfect... and maybe its just my ears...
Some chilled hospital or metalheadz platinum material right here...maybe even teh moving shadow shit...(the chilled end of the label)
Im listening in my dj headphones, and everything sounds crystal clear...
And not saying this cause we talk outside of this website...but i have to say that this has been by far one of the best attempts of chilled jazzy dnb ever on this site... (s4ge deff has his moments as well)

Track:Fucking flows...like water...jsut the way this liquid shit should...
Production: just had beef on some drum issues and some bass issues but its only structure, and its the dnb.be version...
Shoot me your label version, and ill hook you up with some more crits...but as for now...i loved this shit dude... fucking loved it...totally fucking relaxed me...and its now playing for the 3rd time...
9/10 big ups... id spin this... And it takes a lot for me to say id spin something...

you're right cynik that the snare has too much hi end.
and surora that the bass is disharmonic. i have a much better bass sound and melody for it now.
this track kinda feels like a messy room right now, to me. there's more things wrong in there that meet the eye.
