C3 Multiband Compressor - Freeware VST

Not a bad plugin from what I could tell, tho I haven't had much time to work with it yet. But it looks pretty straightforward. I guess I can't complain since this is prolly the first free multiband compressor that I could find. Maybe there's better ones, i dunno, but thought to share this one. There's also a nice amount of other plugins on the page as well tho i haven't downloaded any other ones. Might be worth checking it out.

ahhh yeah, been a while, forgot about ozone. i just happen to notice this one was freeware tho for those who were just looking for something free and effective. Bigup

well it's 64-bit acurate. which is really good. iZatope makes fairly good products.

It works internally with 64-bit values to allow for great precision in processing the audio. After the audio is processed it is handed back to the host program in the bit depth which is used in that session (usually 16 or 24 bit).

The higher the number of bits used, the more precise the software can manipulate the audio streams internally. Good quality software often uses 32-bit floating point internal processing. 64-bit might seem a bit over the top, and will probably not make a hearable difference in audio quality.

The drawback is that the higher the internal bit depth the more it demands from the CPU.
