Please check out my new track 'Unnamed Aug 11' and post your comments here!!!

Not finished, but the ideas are pretty much there.. there's a few things i want to experiment with but i thought i'd upload it for some reviews and ideas before i go in the wrong direction perhaps with it.

this track is lending to vocals and i have a few ideas in mind there. there is room left in the mix for an ambient vocal.. how hard is it to get vocals tho!

Great sound! Some of the transitions need some work, and it finishes about a second too early, but by far the best I've heard from you so far. I don't know if I agree that it needs vocals and it certainly isn't boring. It's quite busy.

I do find the fast "ticking" at the start a little annoying, that would be my only criticism of the content. Otherwise it is magic!!

Ignore the idiot who says you rated your own work 10 and his 1. He's just jealous.

I challenge him to provide evidence here to the board that you did this. He probably doesn't realise that there are people who log on to this board purely for the reason of hearing YOUR work. He thinks you must have rated it cause he doesn't believe anyone else would've.

Again, provide the evidence additive rated his own work, or stuff off. Other's here don't appreciate this abusive attitude and certainly aren't interested in some sour grape making baseless accusations. Even if it were true it would have to be an accident, since additive denies doing it and I know additive personally and he just wouldn't do that on purpose. BTW, people put their work up here for constructive criticism, not personal abuse. Skill and personal demeanour aren't usually related. I certainly hope not in this case, otherwise you are wasting your time here.

Not so found of the sounds u used in this one, it's got a strange vibe, but I must say it fits together ..

U used allot of standard samples, you should've changed them a bit, it's sounds a bit dry indeed ..

Maybe a lil' more change .. 6/10 Pleased

I liked the sounds of the kick and the metalic snare, but that's about it...

Don't like the melodies at all. They don't sound right. The sounds for them aren't that great too, allthough the reece is OK.

Levels aren't great either. Drums drown a bit in the mix, the reece could use a boost too, the arp thingies overpower a bit.

My 1st listen was on bad sound system - drums sounded too punchy. 2nd time listened on my own system. Aaah! thats better! As usual I just love your stuff. Been a bit of a while 'between drinks' though but great to hear a new track from you. Anyway, someone said there was not enough bass. Well the vertical blinds were swinging from the draught from the ducted port in my woofer. The bass is low in frequency - not that boomy woody stuff up around 100 hz or so that fatigues your head and is intended for systems with little speakers. A problem some listeners might have with low frequency bass is acoustic cancellation of the low waves in their listening rooms or else their systems just can't reproduce very low frequencies. Your stuff must have something going for it 'cause I'm an old fossil and enjoy your music as much as the young generation do. Thanks for creating some magic - More please!
