yes yes....long tme no hear........im not sure if i reviewed the original.....
bit sudden on te intro...kinda just slams in...mad work with the sample...
the drop almost seems to sudden as well.....although i like the filtered/lead sound......although the beats could maybe do with a few more layers imo......im just not sure on the drum sounds really...thats my biggest criticism,....its personal taste but i would have gone for a diff snare sound.....and maybe alter the velocity a little as it seems a lttle repetitive......
the sub is pretty fat though.....but the best part for me is that lead synth melody....

Haha wow, like the intro in this edit
Like how the drumz fade in ... well done, they're nice too .. nice synth you got here, work well with the drums .. Placed the vocals allright ..
The song really has a kick-in-the nuts-feeling .. keeps me pumping till the end ..
Nice remix yo 9/10

Nice Choon Man!
Some good and bad points to point out tho'. Intro: kick is a bit Lumpy - maybe roll off a bit of bottom end for clarity. Feelin the synth sound - okay could ave been a bit more riffy but thats just my taste. Okay build-up b4 drop 1 bit standard but okay maybe could have thrown in a few more elements but again just imo! feelin the sinewave bleep tho' a bit 'dubby' - niiiiiiiiiice!
Drop 1 - okay but the track seems to lose a bit of clarity, I wanna be hearing them drum fills just cut thru a little more, gettin a bit swallowed up imo. The reecey bass is cool nice n wide and good movement iiiiiite! drum edits on the turnaround lettin this one down them little chop ups could b a little choppier. Nice overall work on the rinse tho'. Breakdown 2's okay,Nice panned fx man - ppppphat! Drop 2 nice change up on the B Lines! Was hopin for different fills (ghosts/amens) whatever peeps call em up here but again only imo.
Breakdown 3 again 'okay' but as with the previous 2 no fireworks no offense, standard build-ups could av been a bit more choppier or layered with extra hits and/or percs, bongo's anything to fill these areas out a bit more.
Overall concept Im feelin and full marks for vocal 'lyrical content' driving the message home
S'got a ravey feel on this one as with all rave tunes they tend to be 'hyper' add maybe a few extra bits n pieces here n there and this ones ready for the record box bro!
Later.

Bassline is massive
Imo the snare could blend just a little better with the amen.

Thanks for the comments & reviews guys!!!!
I am truly grateful for your comments. Im glad you all liked it. It is the first track Ive done that has an amen & I was fairly pleased with how it came out but I think you're right in saying that the drums could use a bit of work. A bit more chopping, eqing & variation is in order!
@ dubcupboard - thanks for the in depth review - it was really helpful!

Directly slam ! There should be a decent fade in imo...
What did you do with that snare ?!
Sounds like a Nano-snare... not a big fan of them tho ...
Drop's heavy but sounds not EQ'ed
Nice changing crispy bassline and pads.
Dunno this remake is nice and hard but the quality isnt that great.
cheers

I don't really like it... And I can't see how a track like this could get a 5 star rating... I mean.. If my tracks are worth 1 star, and this is worth 5 stars...
Ahh well whatever I'm leaving dnb.be anyway

yeah it does slam in pretty hard. having listened to it again I know now I should have made the intro & the breakdown before the drop longer but sometimes it takes some other ears to pick up on things. I shall probably extended those bits for the final version.
As for the drop it was eq'ed & it sounded pretty sweet to me but different speakers/sound systems sound different so I shall probably have to test in a few more places to get the sound right.
Dunno bout the snare - that came from friscko, I should ask him!

Not very fond of the begining... but wait... the drums are coming, this is getting better...
wow, that bass works good, but you have to add a little more mid to it. Nice effects with the flange/phase on the drums.
It gets little boring lateron because its the same all over...
Here is the mid pause. Nice effects you have there, and the voice is righty distorted. The bass from the second part is way better, but still lacks mid. You have high and low freqs of it, but no mid.
The snare can't be heard. Try fixing that in the FX. It's like the bass is too loud or takes too much of the freq. spectrum and the snare and the hats cannot be heard properly.
That would be it. Nice end part. The ghost snares need to be a bit louder. Fix the boringness, with adding a bass line more or sumthing...
6/10
