wow you have four stars......and no reviews....interesting that one innit....
anyway.....riff is catchy.although the beats sound a little familiar.....the bass/kick is to loud and drowns out the rest of the beats....vocals are to quiet.....it not bad but its very old skool....would not sit well in a mix of new tunes.....and its to repetitive....maybe if youd turned up with this ten years ago you might hve been onto somethin.....but id mix it again.and go for some nu style bass....

Lol, I think he meant a local friends song. Anyhow, pretty tuff tune. Can't really say I don't like it as I do, but it's not really what I would normally listen to. I feel this one deserves some credit tho. I'm not really sure how I can critique this one as it sounds pretty damn good to me. Vocals, in my opinion, pretty much make this track tho. Vocal stutters and rewinds are a nice touch. Beats are a little too light for my tastes, but I'm sure with a track like this, heavier breaks might not sit right. All in all man, it's got my respects.

I'd have to agree that the bass is too loud compared to the rest of the sound, snares and voices could stick out more, however I certainly do not agree 'bout the oldskool idea, I love it and mix it inbetween the new stuff... Keeps variation in the set... Actually, I think that's kind of our trademark, mixin' all styles...
One thing I don't like that much: the horns... the repetitive 'spinbacks', I think you use them too much in about every of your productions... My opinion...
, I just find it lacks originality... which doesn't mean it's bad, for a song like this might as well turn up in my playlist, it makes people jump around, and that's the main idea 'bout producing dancemusic, and certainly 'bout mixing it...
All in this is a fine production, though I seem to hear divergence in the snares at some points in the song, like they're not quantized, making it less tight... makes it sound like someone mixing another tune over it and misses the beat by a fraction. Should try to fix that while boosting the snares up...

thanks all, just trying to keep ragga alive cause i love, and here in Toronto, Canada its still huge. And not enuff credit was given to a lot of the songs from the mid ninties. I try to do my music like real dancehall by riddim and flow so thats why it sound similar.
again thanks and respect to all!!!

Nice begining - kinda reggaish... the break is great - all nice, audible and clear.
I like the sub - it adds to the beat much!
Maybe the begining takes too much time, I don't kknow. But if you watch on dj structure, it is fine.. I guess...
the vocals are great. You have goot mastering and FX handling. How come so many ragga tracks came all of a sudden?!
Anyway, a typical ragga treack which can be released fast! Apply immediately.
Good sound quality, good theme - I like it.
Maybe the break becomes a bit boring lateron, but you save that with the vocals...
8,5/10

I think im losing it
