from what position do you work on your music?
I assume the natural position for most would be sitting.
well, I made an experiment today... put a dozen encyclopedias on the desk, topped it with a large board and layed my config on that
felt much better, like a new dimension of freedom

I usually spin like chopper blade's when producing. Never get dizzy.

well i sit...that's what everyone's gonna say
i'd like to do it outside but u kno...neighbors'd get pissed.
who can't appreciate the fine sound of music trial and error? who, i ask you?
but yeah i get almost all my ideas in the shower too. i think up a catchy vocal line in the shower, take it to the mic immediately, and put a song around it the next day, sometimes. even tho the threads not about any of that...

somtimes, i like the HALPH -Squatting position. like just on your haunches.
sometimes i sit, or stand.
or kinda do both, like i am going to sit down, but i only half way down.
if that fails, ya, i just tie a foot or two to the ropes from the ceiling.

I worked as a sales rep for a pool, spa, patio company and got a deal on a large L-shaped, glass top patio bar and a tall swivel adirondack chair. So i can stand or sit n'swivel. It's large enough to hold my 1200s, CDj 100 & djm600 battle style. power book, printer and midi keyboard on the small side of the L. Underneath theres a couple shelves for manuals and such. But the best feature, it came with this built-in, removable "zipper bag" cooler for beer. I can sit, spin, stand, keep cold drinks and if I get cabin fever I grab my powerbook, headphones, oxygen 8 and split. Oddly enough my set up looks alot like my avatar.
