whats up man...here's my take on the tune...

not sure if there was really much of an intro, kinda all blended in as one track, but thats allright tho.

Good amen edits, but they just seem a little dry man, I think maybe it would've sounded better with some more dirty breaks, maybe some distortion, different eq, i dunno, just something to dirty them up. Bassline wasn't too bad. Wish you would've spent more time o nthe lower notes tho. Wasn't quite bringing the bass as much as it could've. The vocals were a bit odd for me, but I guess they fit. At least the bassline has a melody and is present, just not hard enough. Got a little too repetative for me tho. Ahh wait, right there about 3:46 the bass drops a little better. Just think more of them kinda subs throughout the mix. Not really liking the flanger effects on the amens tho. But all in all man, it's a solid tune, just could some more elements. I'd give it a 7/10. Keep it real Bigup

Hmmm, where's the intro?

Anyway, amen sounds good but maybe make it roll a bit more

Ah, now it starts rolling Smile

Not really feeling the basslines. They sound a bit too gameboy-ish. Guess it's the style you're going for... Also, as the notes are played quite high, the bassline doesn't boast a lot of sub for most part of the track, which makes the overall sound quite thin.

The downtempo interlude came quite abruply, maybe try to smoothen out that transition a bit more...

Nice summerfeel to the song . Incoming bells are good and of clear sound.Nice beats, enough variation, good snare.
Nice bass variation further in the song. Both loungy and danceable.
The different part at 3min40 could indeed drop in more subtle.

Nice work!

Sounds Gameboy'ish? Is there a genre for that too? For reason or another, this tune lacks all top end, and low end rumble. Gotta love that "hundred and six miles to chicago" -sample Smile

Drop and change around 3:50 is fantastic! Bigup

I quess it is time to check your music with set of loudspeakers / rooms to see where you lack stuff, your production is getting your slightly down. Like Surya says, youre also repetitive, try using moments where there are different drum beats and no bass to break things a bit.

Drops in general are important in this music, they give contrast to energetic beats - without contrast, mind goes numb and you do not feel the energy anymore. You know, to know what is good, you need to know what is evil and be able to distinquish them.

more of that stuff like in 3:50!
