Final copy of my track AssiMilated. This is the final complete track. I was having a hard time with the second half of the track as I was trying to get a harder drop. So this is what I managed to come up with. Went back, reworked some of the levels, thickened up the basslines and added some other new touches, and voila! I think it could have been a hell of alot better but hey, noones perfect. Hope you guys like it.

Ahhh man. Your tunes bring back so much memories for me. Back when I first started and all. Love the dope ass basslines in this man. Delivered as expected from you, drums r nice and thick on this end. Love everything about it man. Mad respect. Just wish i had this one song u made a long time ago, was on ap but of coarse its not now. idk the name of it tho.

Neither of them. I have up in smoke still, i remember u made that over your mothers passing, many condolances on that still. Amen stylee i still have as well. Along with "Hate Me Now" and your Silent Nova Remix. But there was another one that kind of had a hip hop influance on it. Im not sure what the name of it was, but it was badass. Only tune of yours that was posted i can remember of that i dont have.

this 's got some real nice things in it like the fat bassline
fuckin' fat drumz 
but why did you wait till 3:10 an why does it take like more than a minute for the vocal sample(wich is nice work too) to drop an let the drumz roll
altogether a verry cool track but i got a bit bored here an there

what up baz, hey man thanks for the words bro. Droppin' shit at the right time has been a low point for me in my production from time to time. I agree wholeheartedly with ya tho, the more I listen man, the more I realize how things could've been better and different in certain areas. Definitely one area I will try to improve on. Ok, I got a lil' bored after a while, the song is just a lil' too long ... make it shorter to make it atractive, because those sounds are really nerving me after 6:30 ...
Outro is cool like those bells ...
6.5/10 good producing but needs changes

Thanks bro, I'll definitely be keeping this in mind for future tracks. I'm still working out my whole structure and timing thing so shit don't drag out. Just knowing when to drop the sounds at the right time and keep things moving so I don't bore people. Thanks for the honest review man, this is what I'm talking about. We seriously need people to be straight up like that as much as possible. I would never really have thought that was an issue with this track had you not pointed out the things you did.

Noted man, I tried like hell to get them damn drums to work just right for me, but I just gave in after hours and hours of fiddling with 'em.

listening: volume pumped pretty loud
ah, soundquality improved, sounds fatter now
whats missing in the first drop is a bass teaser, IMO which would work great
nice vocals work with the fx
drums are way better too: programming and the soundqual.
but, it bored me fast. second drop coming, nice twist now but the way the breakdown follows seems a bit forced out. it's all personal taste, tho
all in all, nice big sounds, crunchy and dirty. as it was your main idea guess it has been accomplished

hey greyone, just so you know man, it was real simple. I used FL Studio for this as part of the production so for the vocal work I used the Fast Distortion Plugin, followed by the Fruity Delay 2 plugin and pitched the vocal track down a few notes on the piano roll. But I also used the Fruity Blood Overdrive plugin on the master FX channel so the Fast Distortion plugin ended up running into the Blood Overdrive. Hope thats not too confusing, but on the fast distortion I used the Distortion Type B, kicked the Pre Amp, Mix, and Post Gain all the way up. And on the Blood Overdrive I kicked the preamp up a notch to give it a little more gungier sound which in turn effected the mix as a whole as well. You did say you use FL right? I just thougt in another post you mentioned something like that. My bad if I'm wrong tho. In either case it's all about the distortion and pitching down.

This is some heafty duty shit! Your drumz are tight man. Killer sounds! Love that distorted vocal at 4:15, very original. Drop is huge. Man, love how you carry your vocals on the stab's and or hit's! Has a massive effect on the power of it all! In ya face
