Just got myself A triton LE.

You can use it to create whatever style of music you like. The possibilities are endless man, there are specific drums kits for d&b but you can use the hits from any of the kits to create your own custom kits. Any of the drum sounds can be manipulated and have fx applied in the same way as any of the other sounds.

The sounds themselves (over 400 presets i believe) can be tweaked, twisted and mangled into anything you want them to be. The bass sounds are immensely powerfull and the synth leads will definitely cut through the densest of tracks.

Although it is a sample-based synth, you can start with an initialised waveform, which can be anything from your standard sine, saw, square, pulse waves to Korgs own waveforms for piano, organ, guitar or whatever and manipulate those in allsorts of unique sounds.

Everything can also be manipulated in real-time. you have four knobs which have 3 banks of controls, bank a effects filter cutoff, resonance, EG intensity and EG release. bank b are user assignable and bank c controls the arpeggiator and tempo. there is also a four wayh joystick for pitchbend & modulation & two user assignable modulation switches.

Everything is so hands on and controllable its unreal. Im loving just playing around & creating my own sounds at the moment, ive bearly looked in to actually creating songs on it. I did have a look at the sequencer but to be honest logic is a hell of a lot easier to use so my sequencing duties are probably taken care of, but anyhow its great for composing on the go.

yeah and combi patches are the shit as well.

I can also upgrade my triton LE with a sampling board, giving me a fully featured sampler too.

Im gonna make my next d &b track using the only the triton, so will post it up here for y'all to hear Cool

Might also do a sample pack aswell Big Grin

PS what triton do you have?
