But an LFO is much more than just "Wobble".
Using two or three together, assigned to different things, you get all sorts of madness, like really nice evolving pads of searing bass lines.
Im sure most people know this already, I just dont want new producers to think that all an LFO does is "Wobble", thats all.

Most definitely. Modulate an LFO with an LFO that's being modulated with an LFO Big Grin Ive got some serious lead sounds using this method.

whenver i try and get the bass to wobble, I can do it right, but the problem is for eg. if im playing the bass out of matrix, and the tunes running, there will be a cycle over say 8 bars or whatever, and it will go quiter and louder over that time, in a cycle, not ideal for what im trying to achieve cos i cant control the phase its in, a good example is the recent tune called "too bad" by uh.... taxman. check it. how does he get that shit? i can see that by sampling one good wobble you could just repeat that , but thats not really possible in reason. WHAGWAN?

To stop the bass from going louder and softer you can put a compressor over the signal and that way you can pull the high levels and low levels together, making it so that the low levels are pulled up to an average and the high levels are pulled down.

Yes the wobble comes from the lfo, but you can also draw cut off freq yourself.. also gives a cool effect. with ofcourse the right melody.
I like the filter vst, that can also do some cool wobble sounding effects on your bass.. but indeed the best is with two saws and detuning.

there is no dedicated LFO in Reason. all of em are attached to synths or some other effects.

automate the lfo = right click on lfo-button, and click 'edit automation'
