you first need to sync the lfo.......
then use the lfo to trigger a filter.......then play with speed and amount of lfo........and play with the filter type.

I vote for changing the term LFO to LFW: Low Frequency Wobble.

i also like the wobble......but when its used sparingly and in the right context....i hate it when every record someone puts out has it on though. in fact that really winds me up......so wobble if you must.....but use it only sparingly, and for good only. to much wobble can turn you to the darkside.

I agree with munki.
But an LFO is much more than just "Wobble".
Using two or three together, assigned to different things, you get all sorts of madness, like really nice evolving pads of searing bass lines.
Im sure most people know this already, I just dont want new producers to think that all an LFO does is "Wobble", thats all.

All about detuning IMO, you don't make a reese wobble by adding an LFO to a single saw do you? You make it wobble by getting two saws and detuning one of them.
Depends on what sort of wobble you want though.

I think GLS just hit it on the nose... This technique will produce a "wobbly" reece sounding bass, especially when playing in more than one octave. Try detuning one saw to -20 and the other to 20, mess with the filters and you'll be on yer way to wobbledom.

whenver i try and get the bass to wobble, I can do it right, but the problem is for eg. if im playing the bass out of matrix, and the tunes running, there will be a cycle over say 8 bars or whatever, and it will go quiter and louder over that time, in a cycle, not ideal for what im trying to achieve cos i cant control the phase its in, a good example is the recent tune called "too bad" by uh.... taxman. check it. how does he get that shit? i can see that by sampling one good wobble you could just repeat that , but thats not really possible in reason. WHAGWAN?
