Heres a tune Ive spent a couple days on,not finished as yet.. I decided to try to steer towards a slightly more "Traditional" style of DNB for this one, so please let me know what you think.

That was beutifull. Nice work with the scratching. Here's a better review, I really needed to listen to your track a bunch of time's to get an idea on what to say. Cheers! I'll start of with how nice the level's sound, perfect!! The only thing that I didn't like was the Glass sounding chord's used throughout the track. The sound itself just seem's to stick out to much, I know that was likely the idea, but I just didn't fell it working with the rest of the track, speaking of which, Your track is really proffesional sounding. Not a dam thing wrong with it. Love how you mash up your vocal sample's and those violin's used reminded me of the movie reqiuem for a dream, nice work, can't wait to hear your next track, really! Mad Mad skill's indeed man. Bigup

If you meen the Blolololoop. Then it is a reference to a Dillinja tune but I re made the sample myself with the ES1 in Logic.

very nice so far and i think it might get better ... i didnt like you drop ... sorry everyone keeps raving about it and i think it could have been beter ...

IMO something sounds distorted to hell and back ...

its really a good tune very well laided out ... sounds like some evol stuff in there ...

The sample is from the new War Of the Worlds (Hence the overated midget vs Hyped up producer, Tom cruise and Steven Speilberg)
The voice is Morgan Freeman, The narrative is his only part in the film!!!
A bit cheeky but the horn samples are from the film too.
One of those things were as soon as I heard it, I had too use it because Im sure someone else would too, and I wanted too get there first.
I know what you meen with the drop. Im still not happy with it so any suggestions would be appreciated.

By the way, the film is pretty crap, Save yourself the money and watch the first version, or even better, read the book.

Beautiful intro! Very good, nice and long, the drop is good and the synth is the heat. The song has an amazing amount of depth! Like how you have lots of layers and they are mixed well. Like the off keys threw the song, the breakdown is very good! I am amazed! Love every second of it! Love the slow beat and how you added your synth at the exact right time before that! 10/10 Z

wanted to see what the hype about thsi was...so im checking it...

good vocals...saw the movie...its dope...nice tention on this intro...
odnt think you shoudlve droped it so early...but thast more or lses my taste..but great stuff going on...lvoing it so far...those really hi pitched sounds fuck with my ears...no real need for them,, track would be jsut as good without them (im talking about the oines that sounds liek a screaming bell)..

wasnt diggin the end, but this shit was nuts man...you can tell youve been at this for awhile..big ups...with your tallent, id lke it if you took the time to review my last track (despite the shit rating people have been giving it ) cheers man...like i said...great stuff...

intro is fairly cool atmosphere
and the vox are alright, could be abit more clear.
the drop doesnt have as much impact as it could have... the drums dont hammer as hard as they should. they are abif muddy.
the bassline is very good though.
nice lil sound fx n stuff.
break down is alright. goes for abit
its then drops alright. cool shit goin down after this drop.
all it needs is some work on the drums n shes sweet.

The intro is so cool, I always liked Morgan Freeman bein' the emotional dude explaining to evereybody in the world how fucked up the situation is, what an acter ... Pleased

Now indeed the trompets or what so ever in the intro are al litlle to high and too loud ... I didn't understand evereything what he said ...

When the shit drops I had to put my volume up a litlle cause the break was a litlle more quieter than I expected ... But he's pretty goddamn nice man, that's pure dnb ..

The bassline is amzingly cool, the voicescratches are professional, I'll give you a fuckin' 10/10 man !!! This is your best song so far, and there where allready a few good ones Bigup

Weird.
Not heard it but you see what Im saying about wanting to use that sample ASAP.(there is a really beefy bass sound in the film too).
I wanted to have the sample a bit louder, But it was taken from a dodgy copy I got from the Ukraine, which had been recorded in a cinema, so the sound quality was shit and there are people moving around and coughing. I EQed a hell of a lot to tidy it up as best I could but the quallity is still fairly dire.
If you listen carefully you can still hear people coughing occasionally.

Cheers for all the reveiws. Played a Laptop set last night and this one went down really well.
Cheers for the suggestions on the drums from Korrupt Kops. Layered the snare a bit more and gave the kick a bit more punch, sounds a lot better now.Is the name a reference to the Evol Intent tune? or simply a sumary of the standard of police work these days.

love the tune but i think the drop should be less sudden an more cut up to my opinion (like the one on epiphany a lot)
also try turnin up the bassdrum
rest of the levels should be left the way they is now.

To be fair this is really the kinda tune I concentrate on so I didnt spend too much time on it hence the levels etc. Unfortunatly most of my stuff I couldnt post up hear as Its in no way DNB, but Ill have my website setup soon so Ill post a link when I do.
