Maan!!! you're joking... I play guitar... Pod is the worst thing you can ever get. There are no dynamics... the sound is so digital. Even for synths I would get something else. The boss pedals for example is much better... If tons of producers doing it now, tons of producers are wrong.
I have got novation V-station (emulation of the K-Station), and it's great! Sounds extremly good. I can recomend this one, the filter is great.

So do use the pod like an effect's rack?? Run your synth's through it??

Yea! I gotta do that! I would use a Tc electronics multieffect for different effects, and an true guitaramp with tubes for distortion, like mine ENGL screamer 50 - nice stuff. Haven't tried it on synths yet! I used an Boss DS1 for a bassline and it sounded quite good.
