That vocal does indeed fuck things up badly! It's offbeat more than it's in the right tempo, and it's COMPLETELY out of key with the melody. This was really hard for me to keep listening. REALLY. It's unbrearable!!! The low end is lacking a bit. About the style: This is a style I don't wanna see becoming big: anthem DnB. It's like the DnB version of anthem trance, the genre that made me stop listening to trance! Hands in the air "uplifting" melodies with stereotype saw patches. No thanks. I really do love this track. Even though it does have a bit of a trancy feel it has great change upz and a nice edgy feel to it. Everything else i was impressed by.
