Please check out my new track 'St.Ilayah Thunderer' and post your comments here!!!
This is made in Reason 2.5
Used:
Subtractor for the bass and the buzzer
Maelstrom for the synths
Reddrum for the drums
Dr.REX for the "ghost " fills.
Mastering made in CubaseSX
I know that the intro maybe sucks and it isn`t linked with the rest of the tune but I just didn`t had the idea...
So I hope you`ll like it

i like the intro .... the drum work is nice ... redrum you say?
i think the synth needs to be toned down a bit cause it kills the drums during the intro ...
everything sems to link well together ... IMO ...
the bass needs something to switch it up a bit cause it starts to get annpying after a bit ... and the drums need something too ... maybe a hard amen.tramen to break up the droning ...

Well " Reddrum" is a drum syntesyzer in Reason and I must admit it is a little limited in editing the drum sounds( just has attack and decay everything just goes thru the sends) so I often forgot to apply any of the fine tunning that need to be applyed

intro is very creepy - sounds remind of church bells
your drumwork is very nice, compact
all of the sounds work well with eachother
but I feel the sequencing could be better, you somehow just drop those sounds in, sounds a bit rushed... at 1:07 you make basis for a drop which never happens.
Im not feeling the bassline either, think you could do more with that.. it's one-bar repeating now
dunno, this has great basis for a killer track, but IMO structure needs more work...
7/10
btw, when in reason, press tab and you will see redrums channels outputs,, there you can wire each channel individually to the mixer and connect effects in between as to avoid the 'send' on the mixer

the drums are hard, they work. the intro isn't that bad at all.
would want something a bit better but... i could skip it to the drop
you know what would work, the first note ont he bassline of the drop, just repeted in the background and pick up the volume on it. like a revese delay.... than let the full line go once, pause, drop.
you got a solid note for the bass int he intro, usually you want a constipated, or stuttering kinda of sound for the tinrso.
this goers from drums leads basslines, all that, in the start, the use of long holding notes, other than for atmosphere or strings, isn't used. stabs only.
so the intro would be imporved by a arp bassline.

Intro: dunno, wasn't impressed.
Drums kickin in: ok, but they could use a boost.
Bass kicking in: sounds out of key or something. Something's not right.
I found the melodies to be rather irritating... Try getting them to flow a bit more...
