Please check out my new track 'The Return Of The Killer Dreadlocks (Jamaican Rough Style Mix)' and post your comments here!!!
It's quite different from the original ROTKD, actually it's more a totally new track.
Just the "it's the return...." and "They're back.." vocal lines are from the original, as is the Jamaican Rough Style vocal.
Raggasummervibes, by dreads eaten selectah!!!
This track has been deleted on the producer's request

Intro : yeah feel tha summer vibes , nice reeverbs 'n vocals.
funny. Is that 180 BPM ? sounds like 190. Wow massive at 1:26 ! A lot of variation and sweepy basses. Some high rims are missing and vocals get overused. nice spinbacks. ...So fast!? its definatly 190 imo.
phat track but needs some high stuff ( i mean , theres a lot of ganja-flow in it , but some high hats/rims .)

like the intro.....id maybe be a bit more selective with the drum sounds.....but the programmings good.....but on the dubby bits you need to find a better quality reverb on the hits cause their a bit muddy.
whoa....wasnt expecting the lead......
theres an amen at around 3 mins which doesnt sound right, just sounds like a really bad filter (bad as in not good
) ......way to low in the mix again it sounds muddy here.....but it changes up again....
way to quick, slow it down a bit and it should sound a little less cluttered. good tune....needs a little editing in my opinion......but im picky anyway.

er..no ..its been done......and your tunes not that jungleee.......im just saying that it will sound less cluttered at a slower bpm.....youll find more space to place things in the mix.......you can always speed it up if you burn/press it!!!

Nice track. Love those revers drums, they need a boost though. Lovin that whole reggea vibe! Your dub style drum's are nicley delayed. You might want to check out the sound library from kontact 2. There is an amazing dub kit under electronic drums. It did sound like there was a bit much going on with the vocals, but not too much
Overall great track, now I am going to check out your other latest track while inhaling a nice big bad fatty!!

like the guitar but that one high pitched noise kind of hurts. Ganja in full force! The siren is done a few to many times. Oh SHIT! love that bass. Nice change ups. The sample is cool but a little too loud. It's a fun track.
COOL

cant understand a damn thing the cat is saying, and then its right into the body ...
no buildup no tension no nothing? i like your choice of sounds ... although not the style of the track ...

taht's mainly 'cus i made this track because there's a lot of reggae dnb around, but it's all kinda liquid, soft, chilly stuff..(exept for the one digital, sub focus and phobia then)
And I'd like it tech-step and muthafuggin hard!!
and since it aint very common, i made it myself

Yeah Its OK, But Every DNB DJ Has a record bag full of this stuff and they wont want another tune thats exactly the same as all the others.
Dont be too bothered about the BPM Because Youre never gonna find youre own style if you stick to standards.

Drums aren't bad, bassline goes wrong in the low notes (looses presence). I'd be better if you sampled it at a note where it sounds good and use that sample.
Not bad, you're clearly making progress!
