Anyone knows where you can dowload some 'tropical' samples?
I'm talkin about steel drums, latin piano, percs, spanish vocals, guitar (those, think the genre is called "zouk", guitars), hell I know as long as it sounds tropical.

go to some second hand cd shop and buy some cheap cd's there with wht u might need. I mostly get my samples that way.

nah, no problem if you only cut small samples 
nobody will notice where you got hold of those samples if you arrange them inna good way 
my last track is full of such samples lol. If you process them a bit, revering, reverbing, draw some envelope over it, etc etc possiblities to camouflage the original sample are infinite

depends on what u sample, if u sample the snareroll from Rocker's Hifi - Push, it will get noticed..

In fact there are copyrights on those samples, but if you do it good an no one can recognise them, who will be there to stop you?

just go to a soundfont site... like soundfont.it ot something....its your best bet...
