ow!
we're back with two extra sessions at the end of the school year. we take off 22/06 :
Eskey + Sallow + MC Don Jefe did a nice job last year, and are back
to surprise. come at 23h30 to see the spinning duo and a quite wild spittin MC.
Rudy Rocket needs no introduction, STEAM resident and promotor
from day one, boasting sets that take the last man standing to the dancefloor.
D.A.R.Y.L. played at one of the first sessions this year, and plays at
the last. steady mixing skills and a selection quite varied, often with an oldskool touch.
resident MC's for the night, delivering the verbal : Soul MC, MC Eleven
* income is 2before/3after midnight as usual.
* the week after, 29/06, there's a Bday Bash, Soul and DJ Dobe celebrating one year extra !
hope to see some dancing crowd wednesday !!

Krewzader website

started a new weekly dnb eve at Cover (Gent) quite successfully last
year and completes the Boom Biscuits series of this year with two more
sessions in the Ghent Festival. Krewzader is the founder mentalLAB, with
the intention of supporting Belgian dnb talent and production and recently
appears with MC Mush.
MC Mush website
is a new MC on the block, doing the verbal thing since November 2003.
appears mostly with dj Viehai and Krewzader, matching their hard up
tempo styles with a style commonly reffered to as 'renegade hardware'
style. check this duo out !!
Dobe'n'Daze Mystic
(picture from artist's collection at Mystic 10 yrs Metalheadz 2005)
are regulars at STEAM and of course need little intro. the two are walking
musical ways together since long and have been involved in quite some
projects : Kozzmozz, Scenter, Tecktonic, Mystic radioshow and early Mystic
monthly parties (later also with Juice Blenders). quite a varied style from
liq to rough, with a dedication for the story-telling, main act of tonight will
certainly give last STEAM a roll as Dobe is celebrating his birthday as well.

320 DB : XZ32 - Border - D-Lux website

are residents of Dacru as a team, but seperately go back longer, dj-ing and
organising parties. they describe themselves as "a new techy, neurofunk
dnb dj crew" that brings "technoid, maybe even a little psychedelic
drum'n'bass. Border takes care of the melodic aspect of their sets while
XZ32 and D-Lux got the rougher techy side covered." two last mentioned
have a weekly show at Jungletrain DNB Radio, sometimes joined by Border.
Soul MC Steam, Mystic, decadance.be

resident MC and co-organiser of STEAMteam, adding a flavour which
undoubtedly makes up STEAM's identity and atmosphere for a large part.
this veteran of the Ghent scene is one of the country's most well know
MC's having accompanied a huge list of Belgian and UK artists.

MC Eleven website

represents Payback crew and has performed at STEAM quite some times
already as resicent MC. a clear voice and an energetic style, sometimes
ragga-influenced, MC Eleven is one of the few new breed MC's in the
country. talent and latent being words consiting of the same letters...
now who's up for tomorrow ?! we start at 23h30, entrance is 2/3
euros before/after midnight. main room holds Marco Bailey. come early !!
