OK the quest for a better surfin experience continues 
You all know about the bandwidth problems the site is having and the site has also become a little too slow at times, so I have decided to upgrade the site again.
My host has proposed me to move to a new server (a dual PIV Xeon 2.0 GHz
). I have to get the domain name servers sorted and then the site can be moved. The downside to this is that for a time span of 12-24 hours all posts that are made in the forum will end up on the old server and all these posts will be lost when the DNS resolves to the new server.
In practice this means that I will have to shut down the forum during this period. So prepare yourselves, it will be a long 24 hours 
But it will be much better afterwards, we will have more than double the bandwidth and a much faster server

I don't know exactly when, depends on the time it takes between when my host moves the site, my domain registrar changes the DNS settings and when the DNS server resolves.
You'll notice when the process has started, but it's not certain how long it will take...
