Please check out my new track 'Nick VS Erina Z (Darkness in the forest)' and post your comments here!!!

Had to re-upload, got a comment that it was too short, I made the track long, just my mp3 converter messed it all up and cut it in half... Z

I THINK THE IDEA IS SOLID ;ONLY THE OPENING SOUND (bass synth)comes in and dominates the field ,i think this sound needs enhancement, the rest could fit betterafter this,it could use your main thing a tick longer before the breakdown, this revolution bit sounds promising to me,catchy, an overall good first try,and i think a song you can develope well, dont put it aside ok my first write up,i wish you well thanks for your commitment respect Ges

HI NICK,with bass synth whatever, enhance that a bit ,to me the percussion sounds segrogated from the rest , on the whole nice track, but i think you could do more towards the middle maybe get everyone re thinking?a good background sound throughout maybe not rife for the dancefloor all the best Ges

Not a bad idea, I will think of a few ideas, and see what my magic box of loops has for me. If you want loops to re-mix one of my tracks I can send them. Just e-mail me. Z

Ok I'm glad you didn't go the corny way and call it darness in the jungle. I like the buildup.

I like the jungle beat alot. Put something on that bass. Its too plain. That's my main complaint with the majority of songs on here, I was expecting to hear some pretty wack beats, but the drums are usually fine. Its the bass thats lacking on most on here. I realize this isn't mean to be a pounding Techstep tune. But take pointers from those guys -- they do it right. Bass has to be low in frequency, not overpowevering, and nasty. Filters can make a bass line standout and sing. Your bass sounds nice and low, but its a little on the boring side. If you put a filter with an LFO on it and made it bow wow wow wow, on the beat, I'd dig it. Just a thought.

Overall I liked it. Could use something to make it catchy, right now its very ambient and unmemorable.
