ok my mate (ahem!!!!) dj hixx.......tells me that ram are a jump up label...and i should "wise up"......personally...i think he must be deaf. 
ok everyones entitled to their opinion but......
also he tells me that jump up is the roots of dnb.......hmmmmmm.
im just curious what everyone else thinks......

i wouldnt say ram is a jump yp label...theyve been renound for the really dark techy sounds they produce...many in which dsl has played on many of his cd's...However people such as friction, and nightbreed have most recent put out many "jump up" type tunes...if there was a jump up label for ME...id go with ram...there stuf is highy highyl dancy...but its nto exactly dj hype or zinc...if you knwo waht i mean...
imo id say ram would be more of a Hardstep/Darkstep label...

one of the biggest tracks in dnb (Valley of the shadows) came out on ram, and back then it was called techstep, dark dnb...
I dont associate ram with jump-up, but grid at the other side...

I own 'Molten Beats' and 'Ram Raiders' & I can tell you that they are most definitely not jump. There aren't any even slightly jump up orientated tunes on either album.
'Ram Raiders' does have some tracks with a bit of bounce to them but they still have kinda techy feel.
'Molten Beats' is techstep all the way - no cheese to be found anywhere.

what you say doesn't make any sense
since when has friction anything to do with ram?
further, ram have released one or two tracks that are a bit jumpy, Capture the flag & X-Ray, but that doesn't exactly qualify them as a jump-up label if that even exist because even labels as true playaz & formation release non jump-up stuff

my bust...i meant fresh from badcompany and moving fusion...
what i aws saying was...ram is deff not jump up...but if it was...itd be the only jump up i liked...considering the track pack of wolves was a pretty jump-up sounding track...especiialy pendulums remix...but thats as close to jump up ther label gets to...

er.well theres a whole shit load of stuff on full cycle which is jump up.....
the "classic" jump up sound would have to be aphrodite and the urban takeover lot , but the more modern sound would have to be the twisted ind style.......
