The sample was a great idea the drop with the echo works as well. The bass is ok but isn't as catchy as the intro deserves. Thats not to say its bad but something with a tad more pressence in the low end or something would be nice. I think the sub needs to be more prominent & you definitely need some other stuff going on to spice things up a bit. Maybe a sweet melody over the top would give it what it needs to make it stand out. I think after the second drop (when there is one!) you should change up that bassline a little give it some variation when it kicks back in. You can always return to the original bassline after a few bars but I think you need some changes otherwise its going to become too repetative. Overall its a good start and would probably work well on the dancefloor. You should have only played the part with the sample once at the drop-you know keep em wanting to hear that sample again, plus it seemed to lose it's effectiveness. Bassline is pretty good. It's not really my style but it works.
