I changed the ads again. They now show up with correct background colours, right in the middle of the thread and at the end of it 
Guests get lots of ads, members one in the 3rd post and one at the bottom.

Shirts yes, it's starting to filter through. Everybody seems to want one. There is this one tricky thing that needs to be sorted though, being that the shirts would need a design on them, which I don't have; and have no time to make one, so I'm basically waiting for the sky to fall on my head. In the meanwhile you can spraypaint our logo on your chest and be the baddest freak in town.

well , i would be more than willing to pay 10 euroz per year to keep this site going strong without too many ads 
but maybe it can be done in a more fun way , for example by giving that long awaited dnb.be party ????
But in that case the crowd is ofcourse more limited since this site is going international these dayz , plus there's a bigger risk not to make a profit perhaps .... except if we could arrange a free venue/dj's/equipment ....;
anywayz , once again i have to mention how well thechronic is doing on upgrading the site , very nice work man
... but since you can't do everything by yourself ,this board and its members will gladly help you with it hé , as it has already been shown .... a team effort is what the board needs right now
so where do i send the money ?

well i dont think youll have any problems with the djs.....there plenty of em on here........and the equipment shouldnt be to difficult.....but the venue might......lol.i guess you could tell em its for charity
and if you do ever need new team members dont hesitate to ask........but i guess i might be a bit to confrontational for some.....

I'm trying some things out. This amazon stuff is way less flexible than the google ads for sure, a real pain to use. Stupid keyword handling. If I make an ad for fruity loops books it shows up a biography of Disney 
It pays out 5% of the profit in $10 reduction coupons, and only when people actually buy the book in the ad. So it's maybe not really interesting, but I'd like to check out if it gets some response, I might get some free books out of it
The google ads are having a much better response than before (around 2 euro a day now instead of 30 eurocent
) but it's far from enough to run the site. My primary goal now is to get the site to paying itself back, so I can start making nice cool features for it. I'm not going to spend more and more of my spare time in something that costs me a fortune
BTW if the google ads keep going like this the running costs of the site have dropped from 1800 euro a year to 1000 euro a year. That's an improvement but it's not enough yet
