hmm, i have one i seriously consider selling.
I must say however, that the 'jungle' sounds aren't that great, they sound pretty cheesy/awkward,... there must be MUCH better synths around for a bit more money. If i were you, i'd seriously consider buying one of those...
What are the advantages of a 303? => it works as a midi-keyboard (that's ànd the reason why i have been using it for so long, ànd the reason why i want to sell it and buy an m-audio,... midi-keyboard with assdignable parameters.
I'd say the 303 is more of a live-thingie, the customisable user patterns/knobs/fx make it an intuitive live-instrument BUT, the workmemory is very limited, don't go thinking you can save up to 10 songs each with different FX-settings, different user patterns,..., it simply crashes.. quite bizar for a piece of hardware, but i got usezd to it after working on my pc.. |
your mailbox is full, and i would want to buy that if you're sierious.

To get best sound on your drumloops you will have to layer single hits drummachines and sampled loops. That's what I do. I have a BOSS Dr.Rythm Digital DR-220. It's great for all sorts of music. I've used it in d'n'b, but also when you whant that 80's sound with fat snares. Add a long reverb and you get the real 80's sound. Really simple. But for d'n'b you will have to layer it.

oh ya, layering goes without saying, but you can get the basic loop out with a fat drum machine, i tihnk, and layer with whatever...

If there's 1 digital drummer, it must be Rick Allen = Def Leppard's drummer
=> reference Bloodhound Gang's 'the drummer of def leppard only got one arm' x 25
he's serioulsy into foot-drumming, this guy.

This quote was on the second Napalm Death album :
We just want to be the best band in the world and you don't do that sounding like Napalm Death ( lead singer of Def Leppard )
I got the Napalm Death album immediately .
Greetings Dirk .
