Please check out my new track 'Cross Vader (The Darkside Mix)' and post your comments here!!!

Ok, take note, This song is 60% finished, i need to do some compression/eqin/volume adjustments. Anyway because of the Star Wars episode 3 release i thought id treat all you fans to a nice bouncy track.

P.S. (tales from the hood still underway)

yo sensa

i dont like the intro beat , its need to be more fat , also this *starwars* strings , you need to cut a little low freq. , and a lot of sounds need to be EQ Wink

nice drop Bigup

luv it this bass Baby really good bass , but its a little distord or maybe i mystaken but this little noise is make dirty your bass Smile also hihats have wrong sounding for me , you need to cut all low freq. and a little mid. you will heard how your hihats sounds clear Wink and put Stereo enchaser and put left button to *+* ,

more variations in drums will be lovely .......anyway good track i enjoy it , but remmber , use everytime EQ on the each sound , cut all not necessary freq. , its a key to clear production Wink Bigup

cheers

havent done an review for bare long so here we go . . .

the drums are a bit flat, dont have a problem with the rythyms, jsut the drum sounds if you know what.

imo make the vocals louder and less of them, you over use them so that they lose their effect

strings are good, i love a bit of drama in dnb Big Grin , but i think they should be synced up a bit better. the build for the first drop isa bit underwhelming but . . .

nice bassline! and thats what matters!

lol, now the vocals are too loud at 2:33, no pleasing some people Wink

this track is all about ideas . . the ideas are good. the production is a bit on the poor side if i may say so, but work on it, its got potential. the main problem is also lack of rythmic diversity, and general dynamics. make it stand out more liven it up: for example, stop everything in the middle for example, a couple of seconds of utter silence, then bring in them strings LOUD and then maybe drop a second bassline, say the absolute back to front of the last one, with alternating sounds - you do have alternating basses actually, making em more different.

anyways, good song, keep it up Bigup

dont miind the beat at all , just a bit tinny on the snare , sounds like a camel spitting if you get my sound,

the intro with the star wars samples is great build up, well done on this, not to much wrong with it although could be a tad quieter

the rest of the track is cool just a bit too long for me, when you start going more on the bass i think at past 6 mins you should of added more of that variation to it earlier on in the tune, bit more wobbling and bass's coming from nowhere, so people dont know whats coming whilst not being to hectic

overal 7.5/10
good track, i'll wait to hear a remix if there is one!
may the force be with you

here we go..
the intro is cool, I don't like the kick sound but its original. The smp's work nicely and I like the way you add the strings and the hits but I think the whole orchestra overpowers the drums a bit to much.

The drop is nothing special but I like the bass with the "don't make me destroy you" and other vocals over the top. The snare is excellent and has tonnes of character, can't hear enough hihat though. The small section without the heavy bass works well and provides a nice contrast.

the "re-load" of the into is placed well but the. The drop with the "don't fail me again" sweat and is for me the highlight of the song.

The two things that count against the song are:
1)the fact that after a bit the riffs nead to change a bit to keep up interest.
2)with the exception of the snare,The drums could be more prominent.

on the positive side... love the intro sounds and the vocal samples . The bass riff is catchy but gives off beach boys join the darkside vibes.

anywayz
good stuff man
thanks 4 the listen
