then, do you know how to make that sound?

example:
over here
it's used in the seventh track from the file (with the original Juno-D synth)

but the juno-d isn't one of the "real" juno series, like AlphaJuno1+2 or Juno 106...

JUNO-D

more about it

+"pizz saw" more a trancy sound than a real juno ravesound

i think it's easier to create a catchy riff on a keyboard than with pianoroll
and i've already done some things with that juno-d, on school, check the link i posted up there (3rd post in the rank) it's the seventh track on the file (around 12min15sec)

if you only need it for that, a midi controller does the job

I bought an M-Audio Oxygen 8 for £79.99 to do the same thing. And I still end up tweaking and changing everything in the pianoroll. Big Grin

To be honest I wouldn't advise getting the Oxygen 8 though because the keys are crap, it has trouble telling how hard you've pressed it and the volumes normally all over the place. But saying that it could just be mine and you can turn the velocity off so it doesn't really matter, I just thought I’d let you know.

You guessed right 8 knobs and 2 sliders, although the modulation one doesn't work in fl for some reason.

going for a bump on this one with the question: HOW!?

sample

this wav was cut out of the track i made with the juno-d a few years ago, but i want to recreate it with a softsynth now..(cus i finally found out how i can make the melody from that track in the piano roll)

i rember this fromt he day, awsome.

simple, using a wav editing tool i just isolate a single complete wave form, a complete rise and fall. from there i cut at the "ZERO POINT" where the wave from cross the middle line, the 0 dB. there you can copy it into any sample and play it a a looping note. in FL studio there's Samplers you laod and ROLL that's it...

so i lumped it together with a pick of friscko (on top) and an FFT Analyser of freq for you dudes and the dudette.

it woun't hav ethe same great sizzle that one does tho...
