ok i dont usually use bit torrent sites, im in the middle of downloading 4gb of accapellas ........is it possible for me to stop it at any point and open the file?? if so how........

the partial download is just the file you are trying to download, but it will probably be seen as corrupt as long as it's not complete. To continue the download just open the original link again.

oh shit!!! its a 4gb file.........im gonna be here all bloody year.
ok next question....at the minute my computer is telling me its an unrecignised file type, despite the fact its a rar....
so im kind of presuming when its finished it will be recognised....

Bittorrent downloads sections of the file in random order, it's kinda cool. Try downloading an album, and listen to a half downloaded song, bits of the other songs randomly flash in and out.

Why do you talk rubbish? Of course you can preview the file, as long as the begining of it has been downloaded!! It is where the tags and bitrate info are written, and if you have that section you can preview the rest of the file you have downloaded without any problems!
It will juz stop when it reaches the end of the file.
This is .mp3 and .wma...
anyway, someone to send me some recommended bittorrent sites for download?

dont bother, use limewire or something similar. (winmx)
i havent really found anything beneficial woth bit torrents.....maybe its just me...but they seem a lot slower.
the accapella im downloading has started at 60kb a second for the first couple of hours, now its just dropped to about 2kb........and it doesnt look like moving.
