Please check out my new track 'Work it on me' and post your comments here!!!
worked on this track for several weeks, started with the vocal
that I lifted off an old sample cd called back 2 black or something.grab the rodes as a single note hit and riffed around. Grabbed three breaks n chopped em up in recycle into
seperate hits.then built my own seperate breaks layered em all
on top of each other then panned one either side to create clarity,Akai sampler done the donkey work there!then carried on arrangin in cubase vst adding seperate eq settins.

Awe man, this is some seriously dreamy, raw D&B, Lovin that tight bass and those smoothy organ chords. A big stop with just the organ hits, and a massive grimmy string sample would be so sweet and would give da tune more length. For thy did not want it to stop. Deep my friend, deeep. Awe so deep and smooth. p.s. should be on site soon and almost bought recycle, curious as to it's mischief with loops. You will know me by the name **EQUIPPED** Thank's for the priviledge! **EQUIPPED**

Thanx 4 the shout man
appreciate it!
Some grimmy strings would be the icin on the cake
but I got too involved with them drums
no worries shall bear that in mind
recycle 1.6 the old version is what I stuck with
I found it much simpler to use & less functions
to distract you with-highly recommend it bro'
anyway cheers again dude
goin back on them buttons!
Will definately keep an eye out 4 U
Look forward to reviewin ur joints
Keep rollin

Thanx for that!
I was originally debatin over drum sounds big time to begin with
This was the last tune I laid down on cubase
Ive switched to reason so ive had to get my head around new buttons!
But yeah more acoustics wouldn't go amiss
will bear that in mind for a re-rub perhaps.
Theres always room for improvement in production
it never ends but ive had to learn to be patient
to get to the next level
It don't come overnight believe me!
But yeah cheers for droppin in and im glad your'e
feelin this type of flava I love it too
Good vibez man!

intro : starts a bit loud , nice panning and vocals.
drop : didn't liked that bassline (should be more phat and warmer )
break ; got some nice drums inthere (loop?)
2nd drop : sounds better than 1st one alldough bass could be more filterd (sounds raw).
nice jazzstep !

Intro rhodes sound quite lowfi.
The hard panned drums: make them less hard panned!
Standard stepbreak coming in. A bit too standard. And it lacks power.
Synthline coming in: quite good sound, but sounds a bit dull imo.
Drop: saw bassline. Maybe beef it up with some distortion? Nice low-end though. Except for the lowest notes, where the saw looses its low-end.
Not bad, but a bit simple and too much the same throughout the track.
