Please check out my new track 'Midnight Skeye (In Your Arms Mix)' and post your comments here!!!
Ive been meaning to make a jazzy liquidy song for awhile now...and this is my first real go at it...
Its more or less a summery song just to sit and listen to on a nice night or an early morning when you get up.. With pretty synths plucks and sexy seax...
I bring you six and a half minutes of liquidy flowy enjoyment...
ENjoy guys

wtf? another track?
back ya bus up, ya doin too much...what that malt liquor do to ya...
anyway, the review.
like i told u on the beta test, i dunno if i'm diggin this one as much as i do some of ur stuff. beat is nice, sax flows (hell could you do anything ugly with THAT soundfont?), but the plucking plucks seem kinda tacky for some reason.
but, like i also told you, puts me in a pretty place.
sitting on an ice drift and watching the sun rise, right?
its got that emotion, which is really the driving force, and it was really good of you to be able to capture that. i would say a little ambient, jazzy and liquid, as ur sax sounds when it comes in smooth and drifts off.
eqing and the mixdown is fine as usual. good track, but not great. you understand?
7/10.

EQUIPPED?
mellow track. you do keep things going, the maracas later on are a nice addition. you could try a variation with the deep strings every once and a while at least....
does make me want to sleep.
how long is this song, the end wraps up nicly, maybe some more reverb on thoes cheesy pluckings. and a bit of a boost tot here high end.

Nice track. Nice and buzzy indeed.
the only thing that need's a change is the bass. Could be a bit louder. Thank's for the sweet arrangment, tune reminded me of some buzzy time's. "CHEERS" +++Stu Maggoo+++

Intro is quite nice. Guitar is too cheesy for my taste.
Hmmm, as more stuff comes in it becomes even more cheesy. This is pure cheese! (no offence intended)
Bassline is nice, high end is quite agressive though.
Quite well produced and good sound, but slightly boring and way to cheesy

The start could use a tad more effects imo, probably a bit more reverb in some places. The reversed crash was weird O_O The stuff after 0:45 is good, i likey. Pretty decent up to 1:50, but after that drop i didn't feel much change, for me - if there's a drop or a build-up - something is bound to change, be that a new sound or something modified. Didn't quite notice that here. After 3:00, imho, the beats could get a bit more complicated, since simple beats usually get boring. At 4:10, after such a long build-up nothing changes again O_O Some new weird hats in the bg, didn't add much imo though. After 5:00 finally a change, likin' it! That stringy thing could be a bit more smooth though.
Ending is decent. A bit boring, but very decent nonetheless.
Well, overall a track mostly consisting of buildups and nothing changing, some, imo, "default sounding" sounds, which could use a tad more effects on them. Almost the same beats throughout the whole track. Good tune/melody though.
A good track, but imo needs some more work.
Don't take it too hard

Wow, what sounds... what an atmo!! I luv it! I want to make this kind of tune... here is the beat.. wow, paradise island music...!
Nice clearness of the sounds, the sub is little quiet - try adding a bit to its loudness.
Here is the break ( <-break for me is the pause, the period after the builddown, ya know, no beat) Great sounds. That hihat is too hissy or too loud, compared to the quiet snare. Wow, this will get into my collection right away... great atmo...
Ok, you could have changed the melodies a bit... that pluck guitar saved it a bit with the new melody. Ahhh there is another bell synth... that hit the key... wow, you put me in the mood of 'flying'... juz those ghost snares (tombas, pongos) and the main snare to be a bit louder...
you have it, boy... go get em!
9/10

Definately not my style. But its nice. Maybe the guitar is a little tacky but it all works together, so whats it matter. This does create a nice atmosphere, TOO FUCKING NICE if you ask me, but thats just cause its not my style. I dont really know what to say about this. the production sounds fine overall and I think the drums sound fine for the tune. This might be good in a RomCom film for the resolution at the end, afteral its very chessy and very lovey dovey. But if thats what you were going for then well done.

listening now
i like this man its propa chilled, cheese non the less but i like cheese so who gives a fuck, that sub is bouncy man.......at the end of the day this shows you can not only make dirty evil tunes but melodic tunes so whether its cheese or not dont really matter it just shows you can produce other stuff.

hmm i have divided feelings about this track..
good things:
nice subs, not very original but still good job
very good production
the atmosphere is nice
nice fx and backgrounds percussion
negative things:
really repetetive, avoid this man, or shorten your track
the plucked synth is not really my taste.. it fits the song a bit but near the end i get sick of it
so my verdict: average track with good production quality
