i saw the film last friday and was more than impressed. apart from the the cheesy moments when the clone droids and others had too much character making me cringe like i did when i heard 'roger, roger' in the phantom menace, the action sequences were truly amazing!!!
if you look closely just after the first battle with General Grevious you can see the millenium falcon in the picture!!!!!
that ship gets everywhere man!!!
best film i've seen for a long time and that says alot considering what i think of ''fat chinned - cant stop changing my films, Mr Lucas''

I watched the film juz 3 moments ago
I am a StarWars fan, and this movie ROCKS!! What a nice fade-in into Episode I (the one made 30 years ago)... rocks rocks rocks..
recommendation for ya all!
But be sure to watch all other parts...

STARWARS III: transition to Episode VI
so Episode VI was suppose to be a standalone, this makes it hard to intergrate as easily.
but man.
jame earl jones is like 30 years older, doing voice for a younger character. that was bad.
anakin was a bad actor. horribly bad, and his voice didn't work for the deep vader voice.
why the name vader?
they just kinda made everythig for Episode VI happen in that one episode. everything else was leadig to Episode III. there was absolutly nothing else, other than the ankin-amadala love, that lead to that. kinda a abrupt change.
the clones disappear, the droids are just shut off, there is just a death star. nothing is given a reason, ti just is.

He's acually not a bad actor, but he does act horribly in the Star Wars movies!
Yeah, very weak movie.
Like the transiton Anakin makes: [spoiler]One moment he's got himself to almost killing Palpetine after he finds out he is the bad guy, but a few moments later he has no problem in brutaly slaughtering (we'll it's supposed to be brutal, but it didn't acually seem very brutal, the corpses were pretty much in tact, no blood, the floor was like it just got a fresh sweep) the joung, innocent jedi...[/spoiler] That could have been worked on a bit longer to make it at least slightly believable...

saw it yesterday on divx, liked it a lot, but idd some things are a bit contradictory and tought through enuff imo.. Gonna watch this one on the big screen soon

Not Anakin's fault. doing ANGRY RAGE isn't easy. it's not a thing you can portray to a blue screen easily.
and who doesn't look like a foolish spaz when pissed off.
but yea, everything happens so quickly, he goes from just being good, to killing children in minutes.

er....halph price the clones are the stormtroopers..........so they dont dissapear.......
anyway i thought the acting was shit yet again.........
and theres a major hole in the plot.......in the originals luke asks his sister....do you remember your mother.......and she replies something like she died very young but also says about her being a kind woman etc.....which implies she knew her at some point........but hoow can this be??!?!?!?!?!?!?
and when vader shouts" nooooooooooooooooo" i absolutly fucking cringed.........hes the baddest dude in the galaxy.....and hes slightly crispy by this point and i dont know about you but if i resembled a barbecue pork chop i wouldnt be worrying about some broad....
.hes not gonna give a fuck hes an intergalactic bad ass crispy bacon dude (and hes concerned about his missus!!!! dont make me laugh)......im surprised after all the hype it was as poor as it was.....better than episodes 1 and 2 though.

The babie does acually see her mother, and since the force is strong with her... Dunno... I guess Lucas does have an explenation of some kind. Like the "whipe that droids memory" explenation. They don't explain why it should be whiped though...

I didn't like the movie, not being a starwars-fan (however seen all the movies) I think it was just too "forced" (whehe 
) The SFX were nice, but the story? Oh my god... it was a plain mess just to make it fit between the previous and the "first" (or 4th) movie. It should have been a lot better when anakin would already be turning to the dark side in the previous movie, this change was simply too sudden.
Bottom line, they're playing a lot better movies right now in the theatres (Batman begins, Sin city, ...) - too bad they don't use digital projection for them

I was a serious sceptic but I saw it for the first time yesterday & I thought it rocked!!
It was easily the best of the prequels (not hard) and if you put aside the general cheese factor and one liners its not actually bad movie. There are some brilliant action scenes and definitely some real sinister shit going on. reagrdless of how good it is its still not a patch on the originals.
some things that bothered me:
1)padme seems to get very pregnant very fast. Maybe its just me but when she tells anakin she's pregnant she's not showing at all. yet a few scenes down the line she's got a full on bump? surely the timescale of the film is set over only a few weeks at most not several months?
2)anakin seems to get very powerful very quickly. In attack of the clones count dooku manages to fight off obi wan & anakin at the same time and keep yoda at bay. then when they're fighting in ROTS he's already nailed obi wan yet anakin manages to disarm him in a matter of seconds? surely if was a SITH LORD he wouldnt be taken down that easy?
3)the final fight scene where anakin gets nailed. Ok it seems that regardless of how powerfull your enemy is or if he's the chosen one if you have the high ground then the fight is yours end of story.
4)the love scenes between anakin & padme. Not very convincing were they???? han and leia was much more natural and watchable romance.
Those points aside (and probably countless others I cant think of right now) It was good movie & I wasnt disappointed.
