Depending on your internet connection, uploading can take a very long time! When you have cable or ADSL it can take up to half an hour, when you are on modem it can take several hours. DON'T PRESS STOP WHILE DOING THE UPLOAD!!
|
Man, why to scare people away with this?!
Of course it is not that long!!
My suggestion is to change this to reasonable times
ex: ADSL 10 minutes, dial-up 30 minutes

Dial up will probably be longer than 30 minutes, I'm afraid...
If you state too short times, people might think it's taking longer than normal, if it takes longer, and then they might press stop or reload afterall...

Man, what kind of slow internet do you have there
It takes, for a tune of 5 mb, to be uploaded for 20-30 minutes with dial-up.
I have dial-up

Uploading 16MB on a 28k modem will be around 2 hours, so I'm not going to change the message

Lol, what a load of crap! I've done transfers via ethernet on my Pentium 120, and it went a lot faster than a stupid ADSL modem! Maybe they don't want to provide an ethernet modem, only the stupid USB models? And that could be a problem.
Anyway, ask Telenet, I don't think that should be a problem...
